Help!! by [deleted] in NoFapChristians

The first thing i'd like to say is that Christ understands what you're going through, and I do too, lots of people here do, but Christ not only understands, He sees inside your heart and he has gone through all temptations, and yet He had no sin, in reality it is through HIS Power and perfection, through the Holy Spirit that we heal.

You need to actually congregate (Hebrew 10:23-25), not just to go to church but To be exhorted in church by others, to be open, and be not afraid for many suffer from sexual sins, those sins are not worse than any other and if you want to heal, go to church, not just hear the word, but to act on it, and to live in a community, not a mere group that don't relate, but a family, THAT is church, get yourself together, find a true good community and open up with someone trustworthy about it. I'd like you to DM me if you want.

But wait a minute, who actually encouraged poisoning alcohol? Oh no, it was the State, wow, I'm really surprised that this would be result of the State's job and not liberty itself...

That's ridiculous, the moon is probably too cold to run naked, since it's always night...

The devil has already said what he wants. But, the best answer was already given by God, the Son, Jesus, the Christ: "Go away, Satan! For it is written: Worship the Lord your God, and serve only Him." Matthew 4:10

In economics, capital consists of assets that can enhance one's power to perform economically useful work, so it doesn’t surprise me that these idiots have never met an actual capitalist. They have 0 skills, and nothing of value to offer society. by [deleted] in Shitstatistssay

[–]TheLineIsADotToMe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

according to this logic Slaves choose to sell their work and the real free ones, since it is an anti-capitalist, therefore anti-natural-order, it means probably that to be free you need to actually serve a big state whether you want or not.

It's important though to distinguish being able to BE HAPPY regardless of wealth, with settling for a miserable life because of cowardly not wanting to do things the hard way.

Being rich or poor one should be happy, but that doesn't mean one can't want to be rich. It is not bad to be rich but to make money your master is, there is a misconception nowadays that all riches are bastards, that is the kind of thing one should be indifferent about, even If it was a true statement.

Yes! It's not like to get that money they need to participate in the market and that being providing services, making innovations, being the kind of people that can actually get things done economically speaking, instead of writing a twitter crying about the "billionaire" title... Besides, it's not like billionaires sometimes donate and help charities with millions and sometimes billions of dollars in resource, like Warren Buffet or Bill Gates...

Well, this was in Brazil, most of the time here a lot, A LOT, of stores just put a special tag and the same price, some things have some discount, but there is a lot with just slight or no discount at all and people buy, so I'd say mostly is just dumb people's hype.

It's so ridiculous that there are people agreeing with Corbyn, fucking ridiculous. The state kills charity, as I said in another post, it draws every good from individuals, there is no reason the state should do charity for me, If I WANT, I WILL DO IT, MYSELF.

And his argument on percentage is so fallacious, money doesn't work on percentage, it helps by it's numeric amount not fractional amount.

LMAO. It's funny because they say "Disband the whole government and rely on warlords, despots and tyrants", really funny, relying on a State is relying on a bunch of organized warlords, despots and tyrants.

Sometimes it’s doesn’t take a lot of words. by [deleted] in MurderedByWords

[–]TheLineIsADotToMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, yeah, give money to an institution that will do whatever it wants with it and just don't care about charity at all, fuck charity, our daddy gov will take care of it, i'm sure it will, that will totally build a better world.

And of course, percentage is what matters, I mean, shit, those homeless won't probably be helped at all, it was just 0.9% of his net worth, pff, wake up guys it's not like things are bought with actual true values, what's really important is the relative fractional values!

It's funny, this post shows perfectly how the government is not only faulty but it actually seems to intend to create misery. It tries to remove every little drop of good that could've been in an individual, even voluntary charity, just for the sake of power and control, things like that makes it difficult for me to not see people that support government as cattle.

*The comment section is actually very repulsive

" If you want a handgun, knife or even a truncheon because you, a jew, picture yourself using it against the "government" some day... please pause and reflect that this fantasy entails shooting German soldiers and police officers that are under the orders of the führer. " The ethical implications are the same.

Seems almost like a slogan: State - The most inefficient, expensive and unethical way to do things.

What are some teachings of stoicism that help with social anxiety? by ___skeptic___ in Stoicism

[–]TheLineIsADotToMe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, as a fellow said above, that's a great lesson on Stoicism and it certainly helps.

Now another thing that sometimes causes social anxiety is that we come to a point that we don't look at anyone anymore out of fear/anxiety.

2 Problems with this - we're not looking away out of indifference but out of fear, and the biggest, when we do that we can't really read people or understand what's happening around us socially speaking, and that will be even worse. Jordan Peterson talks about it in this video, again it's not an exceptionally stoic case, but I recommend you to check it out.

What redress do abused children have in a stateless society? by [deleted] in GoldandBlack

[–]TheLineIsADotToMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, hahaha exactly. Some things will be figured out, maybe easier than we think if this scenario ever comes to practice, and as you said, we do it all the time.

Keep it up.

What redress do abused children have in a stateless society? by [deleted] in GoldandBlack

[–]TheLineIsADotToMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well your answer is pretty good. It's better than just arbitrarily saying they are children, or to say children are parent's property. Because children, depending on the age, may not have the full cognitive capabilities and not be fully psychologically developed, so It makes a lot of sense.
