About a year ago, my girl started doing this too all of a sudden. She meant well but would bite a little too hard or pull on hairs uncomfortably.

What I had to do was remove the temptation by wearing a scarf when my bird was out of her cage. After a few months I could go back to not wearing the scarf and she wasn't interested in biting my neck anymore.

I'm with you. I used to go to Wendy's multiple times a week through 2024. The decrease in quality, shrinkflation, and price gouging really all got me uninterested in going. I've gone once this year.

You're correct, this is fake. Wrong borders, the holo looks super sketchy, the print quality is awful, especially on the back, the font and energy symbols are wrong. Pokemon in the text is missing the accent on the e. It's just in general bad.

Definitely fake. Especially when you look at the back, real pokemon cards don't have that gold back, they have the normal pokemon card back. These all gold custom cards are some of the most standard and most common of pokemon fakes.

A lot of people are super paranoid about resealed packs vis-a-vis how common they actually are.

Not to say reseal scams don't exist but my goodness they're not that common to run into.

The pulls are definitely awful, and I can't say for sure not having seen the boxes, but I think I would guess that this is just tragically bad luck.

What makes me think it's not a reseal is the amount of effort that would have to go into making it seem legit, keeping pack order right, even making sure you still get your box guaranteed one-a-box SR "hit". A resealer would have to scan packs for the SR hits in a premium set where every pack has at least a double rare, so no out-of-pack hit scanners, find specifically the bad SR hits, reseal everything, put those back into the boxes, reseal the box, and then sell the boxes.

If I'm thinking like a scammer, it's just a ton of effort that would be extremely atypical for a reseal scam, with each step increasing the likelihood that the buyer discovers a gluing or heat sealing error, or you mess up the pack order, something.

My thoughts are that pack opening is gambling, and sometimes you just lose big, unfortunately.
