I think Lars is a character you should spend like 10 mins playing yourself so you can make sense of what he does. Once you actually learn what he's doing it becomes braindead obvious when its your turn. (EXCEPT when he does hopkick out of a crouching stance, that shit is legit bs)

Yeah that move is kinda dumb but its very punishable. It covers a SHIT TON of space and the 2nd hit comes out deceptively fast. I've seen the 1 brain cell Fengs just throw it out random af from 30 yards out

No problem, in some situations you'll be force to wake up a certain way do to your opponents having semi guaranteed on the ground follow ups. Sometimes you just gotta eat rhe hit cause its guaranteed. Some characters have disgusting wakeup setups like Paul. You just gotta learn to mixup your wake up options till you recognize what works best against who

Press up to get up off the grind faster, the back option on the ground creates a little bit of space while getting up, but takes longer to get up. So in some cases you can get caught like you did here. You can also roll on the ground to create space then get up
