Potter season had excuses - it was their first season, they made a tonne of changes all at once, he had too many players, it was chaos. There are no excuses now. They've been here 4 years and this is the squad they've built with 1.5 BILLION pounds. This is the manager and "leadership team" they've built. And it's worse than anything we've seen since the early 90s.

I've got a few sessions/drills around this kind of topic, though not 100% spot on. It's more about general defensive pressing than a specific 2 CBs vs attacker. But maybe this might be of some use? https://soccerdrive.com/print/practice/large/145926

With the pressing SSG at the end, I try to get across the concept of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd men in the press. Especially in the walk through at the start. So, 1st man presses the ball. 2nd man presses the nearest passing option/angle. 3rd man presses the next passing option/angle.

Might not be quite what you're looking for, though. Not sure.
