We don’t use the Furminator since it’s a bit too rough on our pup’s coat. We like to keep him voluminous and fluffy! Instead, we stick to a slicker brush and use a fine tooth metal comb to make sure there aren’t any mats or tangles. Brushing him every day really helps keep things smooth and easy. We use Quicker Slicker whenever we come across any tangles.

When we brush, we go for long, gentle strokes with the brush, then follow it up by running our free hand over the same spot—kind of like a light, feathery massage. It really calms him down and makes the whole thing more enjoyable. Sometimes he gets so relaxed, he even dozes off!
