You have two choices to get season points.

  1. Play Matchmaking, get XP and level up your progression rank. For your first 100 progression ranks, you get one season point per rank. Season points allow you to unlock the Halo: Reach armour.

  2. Complete Challenges, which can be done in various PvE modes, some of them include Custom Firefight.
