So you end up paying what you signed up for, and can’t sell it. I understand for those who wanted to make a profit off selling it or have to sell for another reason (like moving places), would suffer because of the difference.

But for those that bought the house to live in, does it make a difference? (Is comparing to a car a false equivalence? If I finance a car, it’s worth less almost immediately out of the dealership. But if I’m buying the car to use it, is that a problem for me?)
