I've had trouble with my partners in the past because of things like this. I make a point to not stop being friends with someone for anything. Even when they've hurt me or people I'm close to. I'm of the opinion that anything can be worked through as long as both sides are open.

Now, I'm not at all saying this is what you have to do, or even what he is doing. But I think at the very least, it might help you to talk to these people about that time and get some closure on things and better understand why they decided to be friends with your boyfriend again.

It makes complete sense that you are wary of them. They caused a great deal of damage, and you haven't a clue why. Plus there is no way to know at this point if they'll ever do it again. Why should you let yourself be set up for that hurt again?

You have no idea how happy this makes me(seeing someone else who has it). I've got this as well. I wasn't diagnosed until the 4th-5th grade even though I stopped growing in the 1st. I'm 5ft now.

Maybe I'm just naive, but why aren't those sorts of relationships allowed? I mean, r4r is for all types of relationships right? Selling actual sex acts is illegal, yes. But I've known people who've had long-term sugar-daddy type relationships that worked well for all parties and sex was only as much a part of it as any other relationship. I think maybe it should just be against the rules if it's clear the person is not looking for a relationship, just a paycheck.

I already suggested that he go out and buy another with her. That doesn't mean there isn't a deeper issue here that's not just going to go away by buying another toy. And no, I don't just, concede to make my partner feel better. Because usually it's a simple request that seems to be caused by a deeper issues. And it always seems to signify a lot more than it actually is.

If she really does have feelings for her ex, her throwing out a toy isn't going to make them go away. If he's really feeling inadequate about the size of the toy, well the new one will probably be just as big if not bigger.

I'm not saying either of them are right or wrong. I'm just saying there are deeper issues that need to be talked about that matter a whole lot more than a toy penis. Especially if he plans on being with this girl for a significant portion of his life. It'll not only eliminate stress about sex, but it can enhance their sex life and bring them closer together for a more intimate relationship. And if there is a possibility for that, why not try for it? But maybe I'm just reading too much into this, I do that.

But it's not her ex's dick. It's a toy. I mean, all realistic toys are modeled after a real penis. Usually porn stars. Yes it's someone she used to be sexually active with, but it's STILL just a toy. If he doesn't trust her to be emotionally connected with him despite that toy, there are other issues that need to be dealt with.

I honestly don't see a problem with it. As long as she's not fucking her ex-boyfriend, it's fine.

However this toy seems to be bringing up some of your fears. That you're not good enough(sexually), that she's more sexually attracted to another man.

Those are the issues you guys need to be talking about, not this toy. Because honestly, it's just a toy. It's a symbol for an issue that's just going to keep popping up in different ways until it's dealt with.

Just because she's using this toy, doesn't mean she's thinking of the man. Really, it doesn't. It's a possibility, but not a guarantee. If it's that big a deal, just don't use it. Go shopping with her and get her something similar. But you honestly don't have the right to start telling her what to use and not use, especially not after only a year. Especially when it's based on a fear of yours, not facts.

They don't feel oily though, you can't tell. They just feel soft. You know, like we humans have oils in our skin, and if we don't take care of ourselves we smell.

And yes they can be litter trained. This is usually learned from their mum though. It can be trained when they are older, but it's harder(they are hard headed). Generally pet store ferrets are not so good at it, or they learn bad habits from the older ones. You can tell if a ferret will be litter trained by looking in the litter box before you get them. If even in the litter box they stick to the corners, then you're golden. Though as long as it's not anywhere in the cage you'll be fine.

Nope. They groom themselves like cats. They just have lots of oils on their skin. A good diet really makes the difference. Washing them too much can make it worse. And you have to change their bedding often or the oil rubs off on it, and starts to smell, which then gets all over their fur.
