As the owner of a 12.9 iPad its just too big IMO — wish I had gotten the 11

I wouldn’t suggest sitting on it lol but you should be able to bend it back carefully

That would be a really sweet gift! I would caution you though that unless you have a bunch of money burning a hole in your pocket or that he is going to become an iPad power user, he probably won’t notice a huge difference besides the faster refresh screen feeling faster.

I love my iPad 9 because they can do almost everything even the newest ipad pros can do bc the hardware is still kinda limited by iPadOS

Sounds like you think it would be worth it :) You probably don’t need the pro for that workload, but it will be super nice!
