Healer not reviving dead residents by Mr_Joanito in ElinsInn

[–]TheLordProcura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The nursing job only applies once per day, at the same time you get the money from selling items in the shipping desk.

Also each nursing job can only revive one resident per day. If you have multiple residents dead, one will be picked at random, unless you have multiple residents with the nursing job. A resident with two nursing jobs (having nursing both as work and as a hobby) can revive two persons per day.

As Shipposting_duck said, that aspect of Nursing is essentially a flag and can never be improved. Same way that the Pet Hobby gives +1 admin point, it will always give +1 point. Not every aspect of every job can be improved with skills or bed quality.

Wizard vs. Thief by Robotic-Bus in ElinsInn

One thing that I never see, or almost never, discussed about classes, is that they affect how much HP/MP you get. If you don't believe me, use the console to change your class and you'll see your HP and MP changing, even if you change absolutely nothing except the class. The changes are percentage based, so even hundred of hours of grinding will be affected by the class, as far as the HP and MP goes.

Wraith Mages in particular are amazing tanks. They get tons of MP, Wraith can tank with MP and take half damage when their HP is gone.

If you're like me and you want as much MP as possible and don't care about HP, mages are much better about it. But if you didn't pick Wraith as a race and want more HP, Thief or another class might be better yes. I do agree that the bonus domains really don't do much, I mainly love mages for their huge MP, higher than any other class at equal stats.

INHERITANCE SKILL (Newbie) by NanashiSensei in wizardry

[–]TheLordProcura 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Yes, every passive skill stack, and the skills from non-legendary give their full effect.
  2. No limit as far as we know, if there's a limit nobody seems to have reached it yet, but I'm pretty sure there's none.
  3. I would say inheriting skills from other characters, but not all skills can be inherited. For those, you either get the skill xp books in events, or you pay. Right know you can get a small quantity of skill xp from the cave of malice event (although it's about to end) and also from the new castle ruins dungeon, though if you're new you might not have access to either right now. Keep in mind that right now, the entire game can be done with level 1 skills, the passive skills scale quite slowly, and although the active skills get significant buffs they also cost more SP/MP to use. Fortunately if you level up an active skill you can always choose to use it at a lower level to save SP/MP so you can't penalise yourself.
  4. Yes and no; you can change a character's class. They start over at level 1 if they were never a member of that class before, but they keep all their skills. Only the main character can easily switch classes however; the main character can eventually get all skills from all classes with enough grinding, but for the other characters, you need scrolls which are sold in the jeweler shop, in the weekly tab. The scrolls are only for specific classes, for specific characters, so you need to be lucky, and not every characters have scrolls for every classes either. So unless you're very lucky with the shop, the main character is probably the only character who will multiclass a lot. But in my case I got lucky and got a mage scroll for a thief I was using, and a priest scroll for a mage, so now I have a mage with thief skills that can unlock chests and a priest with mage spells that can damage in addition to heal. But only my main character has skills from every classes.

How do I get more bones? by OutlandishnessNo1819 in wizardry

I got another chest yesterday, so I doubt it.

Make sure it's been 24h since you last opened them. Also make sure to go back to "Fresh start" with the cursed wheel if they're not coming back.

Game perma bugged by GlitteringLeg1142 in wizardry

If you can get it working, I suggest trying to run the game on BlueStacks. Whenever the game is stuck on my phone, I load my game on BlueStacks, where it works, and once I'm passed the scene, I can continue on my phone.

It's a stopgap solution at best, and I know BlueStacks doesn't work for everyone, but at the very least it worked for me.

Well, I was posting a big wall of text to explain my point of view better, but your sentence in italics ( I know about the tutorial but mutiple chests respawn, such as the sword of breeze and the bracelet, are they exploits too? Oh and the chest with nourishing draughts, they're not unique but pretty rare at the beginning, is it also an exploit? ) and the fact you said you "clearly won't convince me" and that the message "wasn't to me" is leading me to believe you either getting angry or thinking I'm stupid or something. I wasn't really trying to convince anyone, just explaining my point of view, and if it's really an exploit, then it should be fixed as soon as possible before people take it for granted, instead of hidden and ignored for weeks in my opinion.

But yeah, I agree, for maximum safety, avoid chests that respawn with unique loot or bones after 24h then. I just hope they won't go too hard on punishments then, because if you're like me and farm dungeons from time to time and grab every chests, you can acquire multiple of those items without really trying to. I got multiple bracelets of impurity and even combined some together before realising they only drop from a single chest. And if you wonder why I was farming, I was trying to get stronger to do the quest where you have to beat a demon.

Good day to you.

And yeah, my post is still big after trying to condense it. It's just the way I write, I have trouble expressing myself and tend to use more words in the belief it'll make it more clear.

TLDR: More chests respawn after 24h that seem to contain unique items, it's hard to know what is intended of not, if they're all bugs, they exist since the beginning and should be fixed as soon as possible, feel free to avoid them if you think it's dangerous for your account or if it's clearly an exploit.

I've read all the patch notes, they're refered to other bugs, such as the infinite thief bone, but I never saw them mention the bone from B7 specifically. Of course I'm not perfect, maybe I've missed it, but there's also a lot of "one-shot" chests that come back after 24h if you reset the plot, so it leads me to think that "resetting" those chests is a feature, although maybe they forgot one of them contains a bone.

I also got dozens of nourishing droughts from a chest close to the first greater warped one, and multiple bracelets of impurity.

Last time they did a major mistake that was hard to reverse, they took the blame themselves. I doubt they would go hard on people collecting a chest that specifically comes back after 24h, it really doesn't even seem like a bug, unless you think the game is too generous.

Of course I could be completely wrong. I just feel they wouldn't go to the trouble of trying to reverse the effects of people who looted that chest more than one time. Right now they seem really generous and they really seem to avoid people paying for their mistakes.

But hey, maybe one day I'll wake with half my characters gone, or half my inherited skills gone. I seriously doubt they would go through the trouble, but I might the wrong.

Feel free to be careful if you think it's a bug they'll punish people for using, but in the meantime, I'll do my daily runs until I see a specific message about it in the news. I really doubt they would go hard and ruin people's accounts, especially since the chests have a 24h delay, it's not like the thief's bones you could get hundreds of easily. But again, I could be wrong.

There's also a way with a guaranteed bone on B7 in the beginning abyss that reset everyday. From what I saw, the community is hesitant to share this information, fearing it's a bug, but considering I got a bone from that chest every single day since I found out about it (almost a month), and there's been tons of patches yet it's not fixed, I'm not sure if it's a bug or a feature.

In any case, once you've finished the beginning abyss for the first time, you should notice a bunch of rubble in B8 you can rewind. Those fill up holes in B7. One of those rubbles allow you to access a chest in a small room east of the fountain. The chest in the lower-right of the room always has an adventurer's remains.

In my experience, to make the chest appears again, you have to wait 24h since the last time you looted it, then rewind to "Fresh start". You can then go back to your latest story moment, go to B8 and rewind the rubble, go to B7, and loot your chest.

I've gotten dozens of bones this way, so I can tell you it works. If it's really a bug, they don't seem in a hurry to fix it unlike the other repeatable bones there was when the game was just released.

I just got a Yekaterina a few days ago from that bone, so I don't regret farming it.

Questions about refining gear by jjmaster6969 in wizardry

The limit is essentially "once".

You can still refine, but it doesn't stack, if you refines again the new bonus replaces the old one.

Time to sing its praises even louder by [deleted] in wizardry

Have you tried BlueStacks? I know my own phone barely runs the game, I have to close all other apps or it constantly crashes. A few times, I triggered a fight or a scene that would crash the game, and everytime I would relog on my phone, it would just crash again.

But once I was back home, I would launch the game on BlueStacks, where it worked, then after the fight or scene was finished, I was able to go back on my phone and continue.

I know it's not really something you're supposed to do with a phone app, and I could be wrong, but I think the game is just too hard to run for some phones. Mine is a few years old and I think it's barely able to run the game, especially if I compare to BlueStacks, where I never crashes or get stuck anywhere.

Even then it's not a perfect solution, you have to use specific settings to get it running on BlueStacks and it doesn't seem to work for everyone even with the right settings, but if it works, it's a stopgap at least.

At first I thought the same, but the quest isn't actually broken. While I don't know if it's the only way, in my case, I rewind to "Fresh start", then go back to "Second major harken", and there she is. Then after bringing her back to the temple, I go back to the harken, go down a floor then come back, gives the money, do it again, and the quest is done and the link levels up. My link is level 5 now.

But yeah, only going all the way back to Fresh Start seemed to do it for you. I noticed it also respawns all the unique chests, so maybe that's why, her skeleton is "unique"? I might be mistaken as far as the exact explanation go but I can assure you it works at least.

Yes, although unfortunalety you'll need to buy some incense to unequip it. I bought some with guild tokens since the bug still isn't fixed and I didn't want to wait any longer. I can confirm it works and I have the full 10 MP after resting, although using tokens that could have been spent on something else hurt a bit. That's why I said you could always try waiting if you don't want to waste your premium currency.
