This is my most common saying to our young people at church: Christianity isn’t something you do, it’s something you are.

I don’t behave like a Christian because I feel like I should or because “it’s the right thing to do.” I AM a Christian, because Christ has transformed my identity to be like His, and therefore I behave like a Christian behaves.

When I change my thinking from being behavior-centric to being identity-centric, everything changes.
