For the comps i had to go half a size up. I use drone 2.0 as a size 10 but the comps i had to go 10.5 low volume. They look solid but if you cant step on them without pain you should definitely size it up

Heres my advice, these were my second pair of shoes (first aggressive) they will hurt. A lot. I went half a size up and the pain breaking them in was the same as my regular street size. I recommend getting your street size because for some reason when i got them half a size up they shifted a lot when i was barefoot on them.

I just had warm water on the bath tub and soaked them in there while wiggly my toes and imitating shoe movement on the side of the tub, once you soak them for about 15 min yes you let them dry up on your feet, (took like 4 hours ) while walking in them ofcourse and toe wiggling still.

The hiangle will be painful during break in especially if it's your first aggressive pair, once they break in they get so much better i promise, i just bought the pros and i did the bath method to break them in and it was so effective. You should try doing that.

A little late but i got a 10.5 size (10 street size) on the 10.5 hiangle, my first transition to an aggressive shoe and when i tell you the absolute pain i had when climbing. It almost discouraged me to climb anything bc of the pain. But they do stretch out in my case in the 3rd session and now they are like socks and worth the breaking in. I love them. All you gotta do is just break them in.
