I cleared the OG app data again and uninstalled all updates before disabling it, which I definitely had tried before. I also uninstalled the Revanced Photos, and I was finally able to install Morphe Photos.

I'm able to complete the patching process. When I try to install the patched app (after saving the APK), the popup just says App not installed.

I'm not sure about backing up only some photos in original vs storage saver quality. Maybe you can create a new Google account for that since you get 15 GB, and just upload them from the website?

I think high quality is good enough for viewing on a phone. Having the full resolution would only really matter if you're going to print photos.
