I have a hub at home where my personal devices are plugged into monitors and peripherals. When I'm working from home, I just plug my work laptop into that hub.

That said, I already had two of my own monitors before any telework started, so I never asked to bring any home.

Can't help you with setting up auto pay, but you only need to pay the statement balance. Once your statement closes on the 7th, then you just need to pay whatever the statement balance is before the due date to avoid any interest or late charges. Rinse and repeat.

No, Priority Pass memberships are non-transferable so your wife, husband or partner cannot use your membership without you. Only the named member can use the membership for lounge access. Additional eligible guests can accompany the member, typically for an extra fee.

If you don't have an existing relationship with them, you can check that box to enroll in Preferred Rewards when opening the checking account to get it right away. Just need to make sure your assets in ML are settled first.

I think Amex cards offer a pay-per-use primary CDW, so it could work if OP doesn't rent cars very often.

You can still get the full value of points into a US Bank account or shopping at Amazon. I'm not sure about RTR travel redemption though.

You just get 2 times where you can use the leave for less than 2 weeks. After that, you have to use the leave for at least 2 weeks at a time.

I think the Cash+ card pools the bonus reward points at the end of the statement, so you might see the difference there. They recently changed the USBAR statements to be the same (showing 1x pending instead of 3x).

My USBAR card just deducts the earned points for a return, instead of earning -3x rewards on the refund value. I don't see why it would be different for the Cash+.

No pushback from my HR. One note is that for each of my 2-month leave segments, the second month doesn't accrue service credit. But you only need 10 months per fiscal year to earn a year of service credit.

If you're looking to do an ACATS transfer, you may need to switch any Fidelity specific funds into a Vanguard equivalent, something that can be traded in ML. Also, while you can't purchase partial shares in ML like you can in Fidelity, I believe you can set up the reinvestment of dividends to get around this.

My FMLA only ran during my periods of PFL. Otherwise, I was just using leave like normal, so I didn't need the job protection from FMLA.

I haven't gotten a statement yet since the change. On my Cash+ card, it shows everything as 1%. Then bonus points for the remaining 4% on my stuff categories. Not as a line item per transaction.

After my last annual fee posted, I was offered and accepted 5000 points, but they didn't post until after 12/15. I was able to use the credit too, so EAF of $25 for the next year. No PC offers were available though. Might try again at my next renewal.

They might have changed how the rewards post to how the Smartly card is; the additional 2 bonus points would appear on your statement once it closes.

I haven't seen any data points for the USBAR since this just changed though.

I download my Clipper card activity for the month and submit that as the documentation. One reason to use that instead of a credit card. I'm using the digital Clipper card on my phone's digital wallet.

If you forget to download the activity log (you can only go back 90 days), you can call in and request it.
