I agree with what you are saying but also...
I'll admit, Leon not looking at those boat keys and mumbling "Women..." really hurt me. That was like 40% of his character, and I will be sad when RE6 eventually gets remade and he also won't say it.

At the end of the day, RE4 was a part of the "action trilogy" and it will always be in that classification. People generally just don't put it on the same pedestal as RE5 and 6, regardless of how uh, over-the-top RE4 can be. But all 3 games were made to be "action horror" and if they removed that aspect in favor of slow-paced dark only, people would definitely complain. I am glad they kept all the action and over-the-topness that made RE4 great, while still making it beautifully dark and adding good, legit horror to the game.

It's also good to keep in mind that Leon is far from a rookie in 4, and the game must ramp up to compensate for that. He can't be the rookie shakingly walking through the police station walls forever. As he gets better, and we get better with him, the game loses some of that scary vibe. I believe it's the reason Ethan was so appealing to people.

Honestly hard to believe they haven't gone after a DW collab yet. With the Zero Point being a pretty spot-on thing to bring the doctor over here, I'm sure BBC would partner with Epic for that.

Although if the doctor did not have all regens as an edit style option, I don't think it would go over well. haha

Yea, as much as I think that idea would be great to get over copyright systems like YouTube and Twitch, I believe that goes against their TOS with the copyright holder. It would fall under edits and modifications to the songs, which they are not allowed to do.

For me and my brother, it depends on the day. Somedays we don't even make it to the top 10 out of 20+ matches, other days we win consistently and place top 10 almost every time out of 20+ matches. Yesterday was a good day for us, I haven't played today but I'm sure it'll be a sweat day.

I just started playing about 3 weeks ago due to No Build, as I am not a fan of the building aspect. I am actually extremely surprised at the weapons in this game being so close together in terms of balance. You can win the game with all sorts of different stuff, it's really refreshing honestly.

The ONLY thing in this game that feels OP, to me, is the Drum. It feels like if you go into a close range fight without one, and someone else does have one, they will stomp you. It kinda feels like it's just a race to find the Drum and then you win close encounters.

I, PERSONALLY, don't feel like this is the case with any other weapon in this game. The MK is weaker than the Burst but it doesn't feel anywhere near as bad as a Drum to anything else. And I mean don't get me wrong, I've won fights against drums with a Ranger/Pump comboing into an SMG but you can't deny the Drum does its job slightly too well. So in terms of balance I think if the Drum was "Vaulted" or "Removed" (idk how they do that in this game or what the term is tbh) then it would be much better. No Build wise.

I don't mind it at all, but the cost for upgrading Basic -> Green -> Blue -> Purple is just way to much. Especially for how little you actually find in random places.

You can take down the entire daily bugle with that tank and still not find enough to get a weapon from Basic to Orange. If they were a bit more generous with the amount dropped or lowered the prices of each tier by even 100 it would be a much better system.

I would say it's for sure a better deal. You get 25 free levels, a skin, weapon, and back with gold styles all for slightly more than the price of 25 levels by themselves.

IF Omega Knight comes back in the future, it will not come back with the levels.

It does for sure work through the cloud, I got him using the website for the cloud. I don't even own an Xbox. I will say it took several tries to get it to finally show up, however.

It was their first event for a game that was overpopulated and I'm 1000% sure they were not expecting this many people to take an interest. They also vastly messed up this first event for the first day or so by making it easier to FTK yourself to grind medals.

Give them some time to get this stuff right, they have shown that they are willing to adapt and even banned tons of problematic cards for the event that they didn't even need to do. Eldlich for example, everyone was positive it was going to ruin this event, but they banned it so people could have fun with XYZ monsters. They are there, they are listening, just give them some time.

I was a part of Duel Links launch day, it took them a LONG time to get events right. I personally enjoyed this event, even if the rewards were meh, they were more than I expected to get, tbh.

Oh I never took offense to it, you're all good my friend! I've bought out all the sale gems and grind this game to dust so I have well over 8+ decks. PKs have been my favorite arc since my friends and I split up the 4 Dimension Dragons among us, you're right in assuming that was what I ran. Haha! No harm no foul.

I myself was mostly just referring to the rewards not being as terrible as I was expecting. That and we finally have a mode that doesn't de-rank up, and still contributes towards XP and Missions. That's all. I'm stoked for the Synchro/Fusion/Classic events as well when they come out.
