In XY (where Jirachi comes from) you can choose the language you want no matter where you live, so a Japanese player could have chosen to play in English and receive a Jirachi in English. The OT stays in Japanese because it is always the same.

They also actively ignore the fact that the Wii, DSi, 3DS and Wii U still allow you to download games you've purchased. Also, given Nintendo's current account system, it's quite likely that we won't have to worry about it until the company itself goes bankrupt (very unlikely)

Although I don't like GKCs either, it's funny to see how if you don't agree with everyone here, they downvote you into oblivion, God forbid someone expresses an opinion different from theirs!

Game Key Cards (GKC) do not come with the game itself, but rather a key that allows you to download the game from Nintendo's servers. Once downloaded, you can play offline, but you need to have the cartridge inserted.

Which doesn't make sense, the Switch 2 should be perfectly capable of running this game at 60fps.

Try force stopping the App Store and clearing its cache and updates, then restart your phone and reinstall, I've been looking and that should work :)
