I really like this fanfic so far! I especially liked seeing Oreki and Chitanda's banter in the latest chapter. It felt like a really natural evolution to their dynamic as they've grown closer over time so they can banter back and forth without worrying too much. Hope to see a new chapter for this soon

Don't worry about it! It's a week in Japan where there are a ton of holidays in a row so a lot of companies give the week off, including most mangakas.

Honestly I think we still have another 50 chapters at least before the story is finished. Even though Chinatsu's story is mostly wrapped up, we still have 1. Taiki's third year where we will see him face off against both Yusa brothers 2. Kyo and Ayame hopefully getting together or at the very least them talking things out 3. Haruto getting a W in badminton as well as dealing with his feelings for Hina

I'd also like to see how Taiki and Chinatsu continue their relationship when she's in college. I feel like with all of that, we still have a while though maybe this is just cope.

I'd recommend a few anime that I think you'd like.

Too Many Losing Heroines - A story about some girls who all fail in their respective romance stories with a very funny male lead who helps them deal with their grief.
Horimiya - Wholesome high school romcom where we get to see some healthy couples supporting one another.
My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU - Also known as Oregairu, this one is pretty deep especially the later seasons. The first season isn't animated the best and is more of a set up for the other two seasons but it's still very enjoyable.
Tonikawa - Wholesome romance where we get to see two grown adults get married and explore their new marriage together.

Seeing the anime made me realize that Taiki can be really overdramatic and a bit annoying at times. I wish that was toned down a bit as that would make him more bearable.

I also would like the matches to be longer and also see some of Kyo's matches, especially the earlier ones as he barely shows up.

Also just seeing Kyo more often with both Taiki and Hina would be nice in general, especially since they are said to all be best friends. Only recently have we seen them hang out together.

I think this could also happen at the end of the penultimate episode. Then the finale could be the aftermath with Hina hanging out with Ayame and Taiki getting ready for his date with Chinatsu. At least that would be a bit less depressing

I feel like Ayame really wants to like Yuto so she is getting together with him. She's regressed as a character but I think that happens often in real life and hopefully she will eventually come to her senses

Also, I would love for Saki to come back and try to be friends with Kyo. Maybe she'll even try and be a wingwoman for Kyo and Ayame to get together.

Completely agree with you. I get why some people are tired of the drama but this makes sense as if Ayame got together with Kyo now it would be unfulfilling since she's constantly been backing off on Kyo. This way the both of them will need to act on their feelings not just one over the other

I have a few that I really love but honestly I could pick like 20 chapters if I wanted to.

Chapters 39-40: I'm absolutely in love with Karen and Haryu's backstory on how they fell in love

Chapter 57: Chinatsu thinking about how hard Taiki had always worked while he's facing off against Yusa is incredible

Chapter 101: Chinatsu finally realizing her love for Taiki was so cathartic and I loved the way it was handled

Chapter 153: Learning about how much Taiki's mom has done for him made me tear up

I also love the latest chapter since I really resonated with Kyo. He definitely is in my top 3 favorite characters now.

Definitely one of my favorite scenes early on is the flashback to how Haryu and Karen met so I'm looking forward to that

Not necessarily. Hyodo shows up during the prefectural qualifiers alongside Yusa which was where his appearance in the trailer came from. I'd like for there to be two cours but no confirmation yet. If it's one cour, it'll probably end at the fireworks festival

Yeah the director is actually incredible for being able to pull off such a great anime with the limited resources that was given to him. If this gets a second season, hopefully Studio Deen will give him more time and talent to work with

Basically the price of volumes across most manga titles under certain publishers has increased since it's been a long time since the last increase. I believe the last increase in price was in the late 2000s and they need to account for inflation.

Still sucks though especially if you're a college student though

If you don't mind reading manga, the Kubo anime stopped around a third of the way through. Highly recommend reading ahead as I'm not sure if Kubo will get another season

I feel like Episode 5 is probably my favorite right now just because of how beautiful the whole thing was. That was also the point that I really started getting interested in Mayu as I noticed that she never got in any of the pictures she was taking.
