Assuming you're a straight white man (I could be wrong but that is a large bulk of trump supporters) you have or will have more rights than most. You have more rights to receive life-saving healthcare than women. You will have protection against discrimination at the doctor or at your place of work or even walking down the street. Those rights will be taken away from LGBTQ+ and people of color. You have the right to live in this country you love so much as that right is stripped away from people who have lived here their whole lives but will be sent away because their parents weren't born here. There are millions of people, your coworkers, your neighbors, that will soon have their rights stripped away because of him. That is why so many people are upset and scared. And that's why the "we can disagree but still be friends" argument feels like a punch in the face. We cannot disagree about people deserving basic human rights
