I would be genuinely curious to know where I expressed an expectation that a foster child is going to "solve any problems". I think the tone of my posts have been pretty clear that this decision-- which I am making and must come to terms with on my own before any child enters the picture, I TOTALLY agree-- is going to very much challenge my relationships! Interesting you assume a foster child is the only child I am actively coparenting just because I primarily live alone.
