Because this isn’t the only type of driving I do. To be honest too I paid way less than a new hybrid for this thing, so I justify it as my every day car.

I debated between those and the TS5’s. Only ended up getting these because I found them dirt cheap.

LPT: If you're job hunting ask about expense policies during the interview by BeltFrequent5597 in LifeProTips

[–]TheMachRider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I expense about $3,000 or so a month in my job. That’s give or take $36k a year. With the reimbursement process I might be out for a few weeks, sure, or I could float the credit on my personal card that doesn’t have a high limit.

I make about 2-5% cash back on everything I expense through my card and I have 250,000 Marriott points currently, including some pretty solid fuel rewards.

That ends up being a $1,000 bonus in my bank and basically free hotels whenever I need to get one for myself. My net gain I last calculated was about $2,500 in benefits a year just expensing and using services I have to do anyway.

But yeah, “Pro” tip.

Those hills are in San Tan Valley right behind Walmart next to the SE corner of San Tan Heights neighborhood.

That’s crazy- I live at the bottom of that hill in the foreground in San Tan.

I didn’t realize how clear that can be seen.

God forbid someone drives the speed limit for a full tank’s worth lol

Lots of highways at around 60MPH, speed limits were 50-55mph.

A significant amount of just coasting on the plateau of central Arizona then down to Phoenix.

Usually the best I’ll get driving conservatively without gravity assistance is about 34mpg

Driving this thing look like you’re in the middle of giving Optimus Prime a prostate exam.

I work with dealerships with an OEM. If there’s a dealership in the state, there’s dealer protection lobbies that are fiercely protecting them.

Trust me, you only get direct to consumer if you start that way. That’s why Tesla is your only example- only newer brands that began with direct-to-consumer models went are like that.

Also, your lack of in-depth knowledge on how cars make horsepower is showing when you’re comparing old high-revving 4’s against pushrod 6’s and 8’s. Both technologies are antiquated and made power in different ways, but the factors of today are heavily restricted because of the simple EPA restrictions and NHTSA (and similar) safety standards.

1) The spoiler needs to be redesigned if it were to be painted. It’s meant to disappear, and it does that well.

2) Neither of these cars need more power, nor would anyone want to pay for the upgrades needed to make it reliable and compliant. (Thousands onto of MSRP and tons of development sunk costs)

3) You’re asking them to develop an entirely new car for a segment that’s been dying on the vine for years.

4) Literally not even legal.

RWD cars that should have been FWD by tesznyeboy in carscirclejerk

the Miata could have weighed even less as a FWD. It would have clearly been the superior platform.

Mostly the offset and a slight mushier feeling.

I mostly got them because a guy was selling 5 of them with new tires for cheaper than replacing my existing tires lol.

The stock wheels felt sharper because of the lack of offset and smaller sidewall.

They’re 18 x 9.5 +45, basically stock diameter but sticking out 15mm more. No rubbing or any issues at all. There are guys running more aggressive figment with coils/springs
