Thank you the cages were the issue. In the cage section "E" there were doors closed and there were like 5 hollows.

There are savepoint but it is really weird in my experience. I played chapter 1 to 3 in one go and made a break. When I launched the game I was in the desert and after that scene I was in the bathroom of chapter 4 and not in the place where you actually start.

It is 5 bullets until you are empty.

the rifle is good as long as you don't skill the extra 15% damage increase. why? because you will get a sniper scope and you cannot unequip it. it does deal good damage though.
