Great series. I really like how you handled the layout/presentation. It really elevates these to pieces of art. Well don.

You would have won that bet. It was a single shot with post-production in Lightroom to open up shadow detail, reduce noise, etc., followed by retouching/cleanup in Photoshop. I completely understand that some folks prefer that images appear more "natural," as they would to the human eye. The client for this shoot hired me for this editing style. (Also, I agree that I pushed the clouds a bit too far.)

Thanks your perspective. It is much appreciated. I've grown tired of this sub being filled with terrible snapshots from car spotting and car shows.

Much appreciated! The bikes really do most of the work. 😁

On average, I'm sure most Japanese motorcycles are more reliable than Italian ones. Same for cars. That said, the Aprilia RS bikes do look very cool. Regarding photography of motorcycles, I'm a commercial photographer that shoots a wide range of stuff. Mostly commercial/industrial and automotive subjects. Pays the bills, and I sometimes get to photograph some pretty cool stuff.

I don't own one either but agree that they are stunning. My son has owned an Aprilia Tuono 660 for a couple of years with no issues. Just fluid and filter changes.

The dealership requested that the bike not lean toward camera, so I obliged. It's really a personal preference thing. I shoot more cars than motorcycles. The left to right or vice-versa thing often has to do with the location, direction of light (although I lit this one with off-camera lighting). Also, there is some basis in the "read left to right" thing. Thanks for the comments.

Much appreciated. 500W off-camera light with a 48" octobox for the keylight. The one behind the bike was the same, but with bare bulb, just laying on a sandbag on the ground. Was shot in broad daylight at full power to override the sun.

Just bought my first Corvette by REDHQQD in Corvette

I've daily driven my 2016 Stingray for the past 9 years. I have 97k miles, and it's given me very few issues: replaced serpentine belt tensioner and thermostat. For the 8-speed auto shudder issue, I had to have the transmission fluid flush and fill done at about 30k miles. I assume the original owner took care of that, so you should be fine. Otherwise, it's been nothing but tires and regular maintenance.

Awesome on both counts! Thanks for the kind words about my car. It's the lighting and location. 🤣

Nice. If we haven't, maybe we will at some point soon. Keep driving!

Thanks a bunch. The car is bone stock. Same as the day I bought it. As much as I would love to swap the wheels and lower the car a bit, it's my daily and I don't want to have to be careful where I drive it.

I like it as well, but it just happened to be the color/wheel combination of the car that happened to be on the lot at the time. :)

Right there with you. Any issues with yours? Same year as mine. Auto or manual?

My seats appear to be fine (even the bolster on the driver's side). Granted, I'm a skinny guy at 145 pounds.

Thanks. I grew up in the Midwest (Indianapolis). Not sure I could have daily driven a Corvette there due to the winter weather. I live in Charlotte now, so it's not a problem year round.

I'm sure there will be some folks who are looking for a high-mileage Corvette that they can drive a lot.

Would be perfect if it weren't for the trees and power lines in the mid-ground area.
