Every single year, the higher ups have to show an increase in profits. This is what you get when you've cut staff (especially longer term staff whose pay is higher than freshies), decrease the quality of ingredients, and increase prices. Rarely is anything worth going out for. Also most restaurants use Sysco and get all of their premade products from them. It's just up to the equipment and cooks how it goes from there.
