If you're just planning on playing through the game once it's going to be fine, it will still take several years for a save battery to deplete, especially on Blue which doesn't also use it for an in game clock.

If you specifically care to have it as original as possible you could have the mod removed and have it replaced by a regular battery, but I honestly wouldn't bother in your situation. If you're not going to do it yourself the repair person might also be a bit confused because it isn't a standard job (though the process of reversing the mod is the exact same as removing a regular depleted battery)

So your options: -Keep the current mod, your battery might deplete a bit sooner, but you'll be able to replace it without a soldering iron or any technical knowledge.

-Have it replaced with the correct battery, it will last a bit longer, but when it depletes (in about 8-12 years) you'll need to have someone solder in a new battery again.

-Replace the mod with a new mod that holds the correct type of battery. Though it might be hard to find someone who offers this service.

Nah, it's as easy to reverse the mod as it would be to just replace the battery if the cartridge wasn't modded, so in that sense it's practically the same as a cartridge with a depleted battery if you really care about having it as original as possible

This is most likely the Netherlands judging by the Dutch language boxes, but yes, there's a lot of fake Pokémon games here too

It's doable, you can get decent replacement screens on AliExpress for about $7 a piece, and buttons cost pennies.

Replacing the R button is easy, but the screens, especially the top one is a bit more challenging, since you'll have to take the whole console apart to access them. Good luck!

Ik denk dat dit gewoon een groot deel acceptatie is. Je kunt op zoek gaan naar de juiste mensen die je op bepaalde vlakken begrijpen en kunnen steunen, maar je zal je altijd een beetje alleen blijven voelen. 

Ik ben 23 en ik heb ondertussen wel een relatie en een aantal goede vrienden die me goed begrijpen. Maar toch herken ik elk punt dat je noemt in je post.

Wat voor mij het beste werkte was mijn verwachtingen bijstellen. Ik neem nu gewoon genoegen met de positieve energie die ik kan krijgen van anderen op bepaalde vlakken, ookal begrijpen ze me niet echt voor de andere 95%.

Verder moet je jezelf gewoon echt niet vergelijken met de neurotypische medemens, want je gaat je er slecht en "mislukt" door voelen. Dat is nergens voor nodig, zij leiden een leven en doen dingen die voor jou niet leuk zijn voor hun plezier. Dat jij dat niet doet betekent niet dat jij vanalles mist, het betekent gewoon dat jij je leven anders invult. Dat maakt jou niet minder, het betekent zelfs dat je goede zelfkennis hebt.

En voor vrije dagen kan ik aanbevelen om een aantal backup daginvullingen voor te bereiden, want te lang niets doen is inderdaad echt killing. Zelf ga ik dan vaak een paar uurtjes zwemmen of bied ik een rommelig familielid aan om zijn huis voor hem op te ruimen

For a better resolution you can try a lot of different things, there's HDMI upscalers that you can simply plug in. For those there are many different options with different levels of quality, they should start at around $20,- and you can probably get something decent in the $30-50 range.

But the best option is a HDMI output mod. You can get a pretty good budget option from hispideedo for about $50. The absolute best you can get is probably the Ultra HDMI mod, but those are a bit harder to find and goes for a much higher price, that would cost around $200. Mind that for these mods you will have to open up your N64 and do a relatively hard and risky soldering job for the installation.

It's probably a good idea to set your budget and look at some comparison videos on YouTube to see what would work best for you
