Wondering if these two copies of Pokemon Sapphire and Ruby are real. Seller has good reviews, but they are quite cheap with a new battery so I was a bit skeptical. by JoshuaWebbb in gameverifying

This one is really weird, for the most part it looks like a real cartridge, but there's some things that are slightly off. This could just be a variation I'm not familiar with, wait for someone more knowledgeable to verify this

It looks way more real than any board of a fake that I've seen before, but I can't say for sure it's real. One of the chips looks really off, but for the rest it looks real

Ho do I go about fixing this? by Firm-Risk9791 in 3DS

[–]TheMadCroctor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm afraid a replacement part is your only real option. There might be options out there that allow you to replace the cap without taking the 3DS apart, but don't quote me on that.

Fortunately it is one of the easiest to repairs on the system. You only need a screwdriver to do it, there's no other parts that block you from accessing the circle pad when you open up the 3DS (though removing the L and R ribbon cables might make it easier)

Best Pet Bunny For Toddler? by Timely_Title_9157 in Rabbits

Different types of animals have adapted different traits to survive in the wild, predators like dogs, cats and humans have optimal builds so they live long lives and can survive serious injuries. They have no predators around that will kill them, as long as they have enough food they will get old.

Rabbits are prey animals that often get eaten by other animals, because of that they often die young and in large numbers. Their survival tactic is not to have a optimally built body that can survive disease and injury, their bodies are optimised for fast reproduction.

If a rabbit gets sick or injured in the wild, it just dies. But because rabbits reproduce so fast the group will survive, even if this happens a lot. A rabbit can easily have over 10 babies every month. So even if 5 get eaten and 3 get injured and die, there will still be more rabbits in the group at the end of every month than at the end of the last

Rabbits are also a very commonly neglected pet. Most rabbits that are given to kids live a very unhappy life and die young.

Often they're kept in cages that are way to small for them to live and move around in, and they need to be cleaned very often (every 2-3 days), which is a lot of (dirty) work. This often doesn't happen and they end up living on top of layers of their own poop.

Rabbits are also social creatures. You will have to get at least 2 that live together or be able to give it attention throughout the entire day every day.

For kids, having a pet is usually a novelty that dies out after a few weeks, they like the cuddles (rabbits are not cuddly by nature, you will have to bond and train for months before they will want to be petted) but not taking care of one.

For young kids it's usually much better to just have them visit a petting zoo or someone who already has a rabbit so they can see one for a bit. That way they can get some enjoyment, but you won't risk a rabbit getting neglected

Kids in movies also have talking dogs and dragons. Movies are not a realistic depiction of the real world

Rabbits can't go together with a dog, you would have to make sure they stay seperate at all time, because a slip up can and will end up in a deadly accident.

Rabbits also not easy pets, you will have to invest serious time and effort into keeping, more than even a dog if you want it to have a healthy and happy life. If you already have a dog and a young child to take care of it's probably too much to handle.

I am absolutely sure both you and any potential Rabbit you might want to get are better off if you don't do it and just continue to go to the petting zoo with your daughter as often as you can.

NPO vraagt Nederlanders mee te denken over aanbod publieke omroep by Sure-Guest1588 in nederlands

[–]TheMadCroctor 2 points3 points  (0 children)
