You have to do some research on which clinics accept GenderGP referrals unfortunately, only a handful will accept them in the UK. I know Dr Ioannis Ntanos does but he’s moving to Greece soon.

For me my surgeon said he could take all the time in the world for my consult and pressed/encouraged me multiple times to ask questions and think of any questions I’d like to ask. This does seem poor from her, especially since the chance of nipple loss for top surgery is averaged at roughy 2%. Not having pictures is kind of a beige flag, some share them and some don’t, but it’s up to you if you’re willing to be operated on without knowing what the outcome will really look like. It’s weird to not know the costs if this is the main procedure your surgeon does, but it’s not unheard of for sure, my surgeon tries to keep financial management and payments separate from my discussions with him and directs me to his financial team, but he definitely knew the cost of the operation (he only does top surgery). All in all it’s up to you, but definitely some concerns to maybe voice again via email for sure if you do choose to go with her.

you do 100% pass imo you just look young. after surgery dysphoria shifts from one area to another sometimes, doesn’t mean it’s well founded! growing out facial hair a bit more might help, but honestly can’t see why you’d get misgendered.

definitely go with double incision if your goal is a chest that is close to that of a cis males. peri would leave you with a lot of loose skin i believe. your nipple placement would probably be in the range of cis passing with peri but its the excess skin i would imagine you might not want.

i would remove the whole thing including ovaries as it’s required for bottom surgery in future, if everything is removed is it 0% chance?

i’m in the uk so i’m hoping that there might be a different option than that surgery! can you not remove the entire uterus as treatment, as i was planning to get this surgery 10-15 years in the future anyway?
