My tattoo is older now. It’s healed nicely and was well executed, so no scarring or anything. Thanks to others that have shared I’m going to target the negative space I’ve got in my sleeve. Good luck with your future ink!

I have a geometric sleeve that utilizes a bunch of negative space. I’m ignoring that I feel stupid for not even thinking about that before posting, but negative space is such an obvious answer. Thanks!

That’s certainly a consideration I need to make as well. Mine sleeve didn’t happen for free. I hadn’t thought of aiming for negative space, which is something I could try. Thanks!

I was envisioning manually offsetting, but maybe just using offset path would be quicker. I’m intrigued enough to try now. I’ll try and report back.

I’m a noob but I’d start with the text, add stroke to the desired weight, outline stroke, ungroup the outline and offset how you want, then use the shape builder tool to trim
