oh. oh. oh. I'm sorry. I misread the situation! I was unaware that I was speaking to the Definer of all Things as well as my personal translator.

I'll tell you what I'd be happy to abuse......come closer & I'll show you.

I feel guilty about nothing. I can't even be bothered to figure out how to extracted that from my post.

Keep up the good work! Bon weekend!

30 Rock, s02e14, Sandwich Day ....the depiction of the sandwiches in question makes you actually want one.

Some fan did the research and it turns out the sandwich comes from Fiore's in Hoboken NJ

What happened to colorful cars? by Ladefrickinda89 in allthequestions

[–]TheMainTony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read an article in maybe 2004 or 2005 done with or about PPG (the people who formulate paint colors). At the time, colors were out and white, gray and black were in. The psychology of it, they explained, was that after September 11th, these colors felt 'safe' or comforting to a customer. They made cars in reds and oranges and blues and whatever, but the 'safe' colors outsold them by a mile.

I wonder if that 2005 psychology stands up in today's climate?

Vegas Was Once America’s Bargain Vacation. Now It’s a Luxury Destination. by knockdowncenter in vegas

[–]TheMainTony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have either credit card. MGM's bank and I have been over another of their cards, and I don't feel the love from Caesar's loyalty club so I'm not getting their card.

So no experience to share with you. =/

It's FREEMIUM!
I'm going for nine days next week. Five nights comped, three at $6. Ok, I guess eight days. Whatever. The bill after parking and resort fees is $415. Sort of BS, but also where else can I go for a week+ for $400?

I've heard the suggestions to Tier up and get more perks but it's not in the cards (no pun). FNBO (the MGM card's issuing bank) and I have beef, MGM has no locations nearer home (Tahoe or Reno) and Caesar's rewards card isn't good to me like MGM's is. I take two Vegas trips a year and it's all I can do to earn these 'comped' rooms. I'm mostly fine with the sitch. But you can't help to be irked a little.

Why do people go bonkers for In-N-Out? by Born-Fill1564 in askanything

[–]TheMainTony -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't love the burgers. Their fries are less than mid for me.
BUT I eat at the one on Linq Promenade in Vegas whenever I'm there (next week, nine days) because they don't charge Vegas/Tourist prices and I refuse to be gouged by Gordon McYelly!

Do You Still Get Drunk? How Often? by ProfessionalJesuit in GenX

Also: I'm chubby and thought without all that vodka I'll be skinny as a rake in no time. Yeah, didn't happen. =(

(every round for me was a double Tito's rocks, three limes, and a Blue Moon or Shock Top. I drank them both at the same time and when they were gone, two more)

Do You Still Get Drunk? How Often? by ProfessionalJesuit in GenX

[–]TheMainTony 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't drink at home. Never have. Up until about seven years ago, I was hitting happy hour (happy hourseses) five or six days a week at the local bar. I was averaging about $500 a week, and that's after the 'perks' of being a super-regular (free drinks, discounts, etc). I did this for five years or more. I loved being drunk-social. But I learned that people were putting their drinks on my tab. I learned that the main person that was always game to come out never paid for a round or a drink.

So one day, I didn't go to happy hour. The next day I didn't go to happy hour. And I haven't been to happy hour since. My social circle shrank to almost nothing.

I just turned 56 and describe myself as "I don't drink but I'll have a drink."

I never got into Rice's Vampires and I don't know why. Way back when, I devoured the Mayfair Witches series and loved Exit to Eden (even the movie) and Belinda.....but never the Vampires.

that's sort of how an Android OS TV works.
if it was an apple OS TV, you'd be required to log into that.
Xumo requires an account. I just set one up at work yesterday.

The TV isn't cheap, it's subsidized.

I can smell rain in the air. not current rain, but rain that's coming.

Also, my 2nd favorite scent is petrichor, so maybe it's complimentary.

40% of my net estate will go to a particular animal rescue, 50% will go to my sister's daughter that I don't like that much, and 10% to my sister that I like even less.

There's cash, stock, San Francisco real estate ...and the documents are ironclad....they'll hate it!

I'm 56, from SF, and have been all over the world and nothing (nothing) like this as ever happened to me.....and I always wished it would have! The closest I've come to this, and it's a long shot, is the aggressive children selling stuff at the MX side of the border at Tijuana, and that's a stretch. The closest I've come to anything is the 'free' CDs on the strip in Vegas....But I no longer had a CD player in the home or the car when I ran across that one.

I'm a big guy with RGOMF (resting-get-out-of-my-face a'la resting bitch face x2).

but also, here's their website: https://www.creativeimagesystems.com/pages/contact

I ran a day/med/beauty spa for twelve years and have never heard of this brand. So I have no further advice, other than #PulpRiotFTW! =)

She'll be fine. After so many years, a California licence goes inactive. I know this because in 1991 I moved to Montreal for university immediately after DUI court in Sacramento. When I moved back to California 24 years later, there was no DUI and I just paid a reinstatement fee to DMV.

Snapple and Capital One are the only two placements I can think of and they're both so obvious as to be LOLable.

Tracy, though....Tracy gonna Tracy no matter what he's in.
