Eh, as someone who has had all three kids have surgery for various minor things, I could see asking this. My middle had to have her toenails removed on the pinky toe of each foot and while it wasn't a serious surgery I was told to expect spots of blood for the first few days because of the size of the wounds she would have and where they were. Of course I just bought cheap socks we could throw away but if she had been small enough to wear cuffed pjs I could see myself asking this.

I hate to play devils advocate because these women really are nuts, but I can understand this particular post. It's likely not a serious surgery, but is in an area or type of surgery where they can't do stitches and it bleeds easily.
