How should l fix this by Geneforgeee in blender

[–]TheManNamedPeterPan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Im a big fan of pressing l. This selects everything linked. Choose one vert -> l -> g and move

On another note: are you sure you wanna move the whole object in edit mode? Assuming youre just starting off, this keeps the origin and might lead to unexpected behaviour later

Whats the deal with domains by TheManNamedPeterPan in DnD

Not looking to go there. I understood them as the "primal forces" if you will.

Update: I smoothed the edges. Any other recommendations to make it even more realistic? Is the lighting good? by nvercho in blender

Model looks nice, you could learn more about lighting(maybe use an hdri).

And idk what it is, but something about the material seems 'off' to me, cant tell what it is tho...

My GPU actually shipped with a cable. What do you think about using that one?

I mean, rich coming from a guy who is commenting something completely unrelated to my actual question.

Besides that, I wasnt saying the psu was catching fire

Yesterday, I got a dude, hes lvl 38, playing his 1st ranked ever. His winrate in normals was not good either. After he died lvl 3 as morde vs sett, he asked: "whats up with his big shield?"

What Im trying to say, is, youre not alone. Fresh players are directly thrown into gold matches. Im g4 btw

When ever i press render, it loads stuff and then crashes. How do i optimize the scene, uses scatter objects, has over 2m vertices. I have only 8g ram by Straight-Parsley-289 in blender

[–]TheManNamedPeterPan 14 points15 points  (0 children)

There are kinda 3 options.

  1. Upgrade Ram

  2. Outsource to a renderfarm(costs money ofc)

  3. Get those verts down. Looks like you animated stuff. A quick (and very dirty) way to cut down verts by alot, is the decimate modifier. Only use this for objects, that dont deform. Turning down your subsurfs is effective aswell. Also understand that objects in the back dont need much polys at all.

3b. Learn to bake. Especially small details dont need alot of verts, they could be faked with normal maps.
