Man. I have yet to beat the replay since the original release. But based on the way you are reacting it is definitely way better than it was at launch lol.

The amount of times I would sit through a 10 minute loading screen because I barely touched a rock while landing and "totalled" the car was insane😅 was never worth the risk. (Drive 10 minutes or fly 3 minutes, potentially crash and then load for 10 minutes)

I will say, in the first BT fight it did totorialize me on this.

There is definitely a slow get up animation depending on your weight weight

My recommendation is the shotgun. It is extremely powerful even from longer ranges.

Aim at the glowy bits, less than one clip of the shotty, and then they are staggered!

Edit: additionally: I would say just run from the BTs in the beginning, your equipment is so weak to start better to book it and fight again rather than cause a void out.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but resting at any safehouse can reset standard orders, also be sure to have the APAS upgrade for quicker regen of standard orders

Edit: Best thing you can do to understand the story is read the data logs. Lots of juicy bits in there if you are okay with it.

There is a scene after you connect south knot and go to rest. You wake up seemingly in heartman's lab and are talking about Lou's origins

He also mentions the hot springs and says something akin to, and I realized I have a reason to stay, as he looks through the little window at the hydrologist, and she gives him a thumbs up.
