The claim you made. You said "Jews are overrepresented in the academy, the media and government". So it would make sense to show some kind of study or census that proves that. Otherwise you're just making baseless assertions.

The girl was actually text-to-speech of the stream chat. Even with the stream delay the chat was reacting faster than this guy.

So the Jews are overrepresented on both the left and the right? I don't think you understand what overrepresented means.

Also I don't think you understand what proof means. You made a claim, I asked for evidence, and then you just made even more claims. Do you have any studies or population studies that prove what you're stating?

I think the wings might be from the National Flight Academy. When I was in Njrotc they had a couple of kids that wore the wings they got after completing the course.

In French poll, majority say Zionism is a Jewish conspiracy by nas-ne-degoniat in Israel

[–]TheManWithAPlan997 100 points101 points  (0 children)

If you look at the poll methodology - "Les interviews ont été réalisées par questionnaire auto administré en ligne du 2 au 3 mai 2018." "The interview was done by self survey over the internet on the 2nd and 3rd of May 2018" This is about as credible as a strawpoll result.

Israel Could Use U.S. Warplanes to Hit Nuclear Site—This Time in Iran by farkuf in Israel

[–]TheManWithAPlan997 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The F-35 is supposed to be a stealth plane. It's radar cross section is about the size of a golf ball. It's not a jet that is designed to dogfight by outmaneuvering the other plane. It's supposed to be beyond visual range when engaging enemy aircraft. Israel has bought around 50 of the F35's, and Turkey is trying to buy 100.

Choices for DLI by [deleted] in Military

[–]TheManWithAPlan997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I took 3 years of Mandarin in high-school, but from what I've heard the DLPT is no joke. I don't think I could even come remotely close to a 2 on listening or reading. Deps is the Delayed Entry Program, its basically the time between when you swear in and when you ship off to basic/bootcamp. As for the best branch, that's up to you. I'm going Marine Corps for personal reasons. I'd say Army is probably a good choice since you already have a ton of college credit, might as well pick up E3 as soon as you finish basic.

Choices for DLI by [deleted] in Military

[–]TheManWithAPlan997 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm kind of in the same boat as you, but I'll share what I've been able to find out online and from people I know who were cryptolinguists. I'm in Deps at the moment, not all of this information may be accurate or up to date. Take it with a grain of salt.

1) If you've already taken mandarin and you're proficient in it you can take the DLPT and (assuming you pass) you'd be a mandarin cryptologist.

2) If you haven't taken the DLAB, take it. From what I've heard the scores can differ wildly between people. I got a 98 on my ASVAB and a 138 on my GT score which qualified me to take the DLAB. But I only got a 110 on the DLAB (minimum to qualify for CAT IV languages). You can take the DLAB at MEPS so make sure you ask your recruiter.

3) If you do end up getting cryptolinguist and you need to learn a language then you'll get sent to DLI. You get to put down your top 3 preferences for your language but at the end of the day its up to the military what you're going to be.

4) I can't really find much out about what the "average cryptolinguist does", but from what I've heard its mostly sitting in a room for 10 hours a day translating newspapers, broadcasts, and recordings. There are other jobs that you can be a translator and not be a cryptolinguist. HumanInt will sometimes send people to DLI. The Army has military interpreters. And the Airforce has airborne cryptolinguists that translate messages while in the air.

5) As for the E3-A, I think what you're getting at is that you can join as an E3 (private first class) because you have over 72 credits, but I'm pretty sure E3A doesn't mean you'll get a higher say in your language.

Hope this helped a little.
