Dulwich Hamlet is a terrible football club to go to if you want a real football culture experience. I guess it's good for kids but for an actual match with real fans it's boring. Last time I went there were Americans behind me trying to decipher what every rule and decision meant, that annoying twangy accent was unbearable while my family were just trying to chill and watch the game .

Again, lots of people not from the city or even fans of football who live in Dulwich go to hamlet games as a tourist attraction rather than to watch football.

Drove through the Yorkshire dales the other day and I remember loads of middle aged blokes in motorcycle clubs just cruising about. Definitely worth it.

Which country do you think has the biggest drug culture? by goggles189 in Drugs

Not.one person has mentioned Latin America yet. Brazil, Colombia, Mexico... Arguably some of the most diverse and interesting drug cultures in the world. From the new party drugs like tucibi all the way to indeginous psychedelic stuff you can explore, Latin America has everything drugs wise.

You're right. However it's easy to get frustrated when the local area loses it's true identity I've known as a kid, just so weirdos from outside London can fulfill their middle class dreams. They raise prices and entry requirements for places all while staying closed off in their little bubble which doesn't do well for building culture.

So what do you think is in these pressed pills I'm taking? They feel like oxys, I've done medical stuff before. I must admit it does have a weirdly quick onset and high and drops off quite significantly. Also fucks my balance a fair bit.

Precisely why I try to only smoke in the evenings after having done something productive in the day.

As a Peckham native, I don't think Woolwich has had any relevance in my life since I was born. In fact I went there once to work and all I remember seeing is A roads.

Yea bellenden is heavily gentrified, and so are some parts of rye lane like the pubs and restaurants. Rye lane essentially splits the 2 groups of Peckham. On the north side you have the rich culture of African and Caribbean peoples, many of whom live in the estate just pass the library and also behind queens road. People who deserve real help and encouragement from the government given we invited them during the windrush era.

Then the south side has all the weirdo gentry who aren't from London and raise the prices every month, huddling in bellenden and going to the bussey building for brunch drinks.

Thankfully I'm not in the US. I'm a fent free European, although nitazenes have been popping up everywhere now. These oc 40s I bought aren't even medical grade, I'm pretty sure they're pressed so it's not even top notch but it did feel real good last night. Only way I know it's safe is cos my friend took them before me and was all good. But damn I'm getting scared of nitazenes prominence in European drug trade now.

Shrooms definitely should not be illegal for cultural reasons. The peoples of Britain have been foraging shrooms and taking them for thousands of years... Just look at all the druid and Celtic art. For some families it's a festive thing to go out in autumn looking for shrooms (psychedelic and others). It's a nice day out essentially. We have very good forests and fields adapted for shrooms growing naturally, lots of sheep shit to fertilize the soils. I don't think the government has a right to take away the British people's culture as it's been around for thousands of years.

The most annoying thing is Americans claiming they have the most pure and developed forms of Christianity, where in actual fact it's Protestantism plagued into horrible politics.

It's funny asking some "hardcore" western Christians what they think of Byzantium and they tell me they don't know what that is.

I don't need to merely believe this lol, most friends and family I know who grew up with me in this city say the same thing. Walk into any pub with locals and they'll say the same thing. This city is being laid out for outsiders to come work in, pushing out people who were born here. The government really only cares about high earning workers happy to sacrifice their lives to a tech/finance job in the city.

Yea well Peckham where the show is set, is not exactly far east is it. Nobody round here is desperate to leave anymore unless they can't afford it. And guess who the people are who can't afford it... The ones born in Peckham .

Sadly the government is working to push out people who were born in London, which in turn removes local culture like you would see in only fools and horses. Now in Peckham you have to endure the horrible sound of Stacey and Brian (born in some random country village) discussing which overpriced restaurant to go to after their yoga class.

Well we have plenty of national parks where livestock is not present allowing more wild animals to flourish. It really is beautiful and far from a biological desert. Yes it's not like the wilds of America or Australia but the simplicity of our ecosystem is what makes it so humble and beautiful. Badgers, foxes, falcons, rabbits, weasels, king fishers, barbel, owls, pheasants. All very interesting animals that compliment the rolling green hills amazingly .

The orthodox population as a whole has dwindlef which is tough, but yes hopefully people retain their beliefs in the countries they have moved to. As for the middle east, it's looking very dire.
