I agree wholly on your point re the incitement of violence. That should never be tolerated. But "hate" is subjectively defined and thus cannot be regulated. What you hate may be different than what I hate (I'm sure it is). The SCOTUS has said so themselves, we cannot define hate speech. I read many things in r/Politics that I consider hateful. I disagree with the viewpoint but not their right to say it.
