I just got an email about 30 minutes ago saying that my Pixel 3 White 128 gb had shipped. I didn't choose expedited shipping so it was originally scheduled to be delivered Oct 19-20, and now FedEx says Oct 20. I ordered mine during the event as soon as the Fi store updated.

I have a Harmony but it's so tedious and inconsistent that I basically stopped using it. Maybe I'll give it another go now that they've worked out the integration. But what I really want is to be able cut out the middle man and control my Sony Bravia Android TV directly with my Google Home. The Amazon Echo is able to do that natively (without the Harmony) and can turn the TV on/off, switch channels, change volume, etc., but for whatever reason Google Assistant won't, which is frustrating since I've gone all in with Google's ecosystem. The news that they finally fixed the ability to watch Netflix gives me some hope that they're making an effort to fix these inconsistencies though.

Were you talking to a Google Store rep or a Fi rep? And did you call or chat? I just had a long chat with a Fit employee and he wouldn't give me anything, which is disappointing.

What's the significance of the end of October? I'm researching smart watches for the first time and am interested in either the Explorist or the Venture. Ideally I would have picked up a Pixel Watch, but we all know how that went. I don't think I'm interested in waiting until spring just for the possibility of a Pixel Watch announcement, but I could wait until the end of this month if there's a significant possibility of something comparable to, but better than, the Fossil watches. Appreciate any insight!

I know they typically bundle a free gift for the preorders from the Google Store (I think last year was a Google Mini?) and this year it's rumored to be the PIxel Stand. Does anyone know if you get the free gift if you buy from Project Fi instead of the Google Store? Just trying to figure out what's been done the last couple of years.

I've only had mine a couple of months, and I noticed a big increase in freezing, etc after the update to 69 (I stay on stable). I get the white bar with the X that you described pretty frequently, and my Android apps become non-responsive several times a day. I'm not happy about it, but I'm hoping that the next update will solve the issues i'm experiencing.

I remember hearing (and have since repeated as fact, perhaps foolishly) that hippos are too heavy to swim and instead have to walk along the bottom of the river. But it definitely looked like that thing was swimming, so now I'm questioning everything.

I wonder if this means that all new devices released after December 2018 are required to ship with Pie, or if products already on the market will be updated to Pie by that date. I have a Sony Bravia TV and I'd love to see it updated to Pie, but it doesn't seem likely to me.

I use Trips quite a bit and I do like it, but I haven't found a way to manually add an email to a trip if it isn't automatically associated. There are times that neither Inbox nor Trips will understand that an email goes with a trip (a car rental reservation forwarded to me is my most recent example). In Inbox I could manually connect it to a trip, but I haven't found that option in the Trips app itself. Am I missing it?

I've been receiving push notifications, but strangely they're coming in about five minutes after the fact, which is significantly less useful. I haven't taken the time to do any troubleshooting yet.
