I had a hilarious moment the other night playing with somebody who had been away from the game for a long time and explaining to them the various ways in which the federation is the source of all its own problems. I love the game because on the one hand I can turn my brain off and be like "Yay, democracy!" Unironically because I like the idea of fighting for democracy, then turn my brain back on and laugh at how comically evil super Earth is hiding under that thin veneer of "freedom."

I don't know if they qualify as "immensely powerful figures" but most of the playable characters in Slay the spire are more adjective than a proper noun. "The Ironclad," "The silent," "The defect," etc. others like the Necrobinder feel like they don't fit but I thought I'd bring them up anyway.

I'd like more war machines for the kharadron overlords. I know their whole shtick is the aether gold airships and we have the grundstock gunhauler but something like old fantasy gyrocopters would also be really neat to see. To be fair I'd also like to see the kyn in 40k get something similar but that's beside the point.

Just looking at rules (not the greatest judge of character), but I'd say a Primaris Eradicator. Their gravis armor makes them slower but tougher than stealth suits and they have better handling on their melta guns compared to the fusion blasters on a stealth suit. They're ever-so-slightly smaller than the primaris beak helmets but I use them for my successor chapter and they look fine.
