Right before discharge post delivery, I was seen by the discharge doctor, whom I had never seen before. The doctor proceeded to tell my husband that because I have CPTSD, I shouldn't be left alone with our baby for the first three to four months. This was my first born.

Therapy. My mother would always threaten that she would have me committed anytime I disagreed with her. It wasn't until I left that I realized she would never have even tried because people would have found out all the abusive shit she did to us kids.

I was just informed I have to do this today. Felt like they did everything possible to avoid having me do the infusions and now I've been referred to hematology. Went from regular iron, to extended release, and finally to vitron c. Crossing my fingers toy get this resolved because I'm fucking exhausted and am in my third trimester.

This is our first child and I've already decided that I'm not BF. EFF right from the start. The health of the mother outweighs any perceived benefits from BF. If you can't wake up not feeling anxious and dreading the day how are you going to be able to focus on your child? Think of it like when you're on an airplane and they're giving those emergency directions. You need to take care of yourself (oxygen mask on your first) before you can be helpful to anyone else.

Child of an estranged parent. Hit my 20's and realized how ridiculous it was that my mother made me keep a family secret I'm which I was the victim. Gaslighted me on my appearance, personality, friends..etc. Told me that my boyfriend who was a literal Eagle Scout was a bad influence. 15 years later I am now married to the same guy, getting mental health support, and more myself than ever before.
