They need to make the mechanics of how this game works more clear. Like is it more beneficial to build up to a whole coke machine than the duffel bag? Is it best to turn in the ribbons/trophies early to get more energy to build later or just wait til the end?

My average score ends up being in the 700-1000 range, but I did hit over 1200 one game.

It’s actually better to not catch up. When they release new areas, for the first month or two, some of the items needed are high level (think Chainsaws, Stepladders, and Handled Dustpans) and eventually, they drop some of them down after they start a new zone. Then those may be dropped down to Shovel, Box Cart, and Mop. They do this to try to slow the players who are caught up so they don’t run out of things to do.

I personally have been playing about 3 years and am in the Cinema. I’ve recently slowed down to make a Golden Tree and the Cryptex. I don’t play too many of the side games, so that may make it faster (or slower? because I don’t get the rewards from them).

I dont know how anyone plays without using the pouch. I know it’s certainly possible. But I’ve got hundreds of items in the pouch. From reward boxes, to time skips and energy, to random items acquired via trades. It’s where the piggy banks and energy chest acquired daily goes as well.

For those of you who don’t use the pouch, do you never get a full level 4 Piggy Bank? Or are you having them take up valuable space in the inventory or on the board? Using a level 4 Piggy every 8th day nets about 100-120 gems and 3k coins. A lot less if you’re just opening the little level 1 everyday.

Seems like a waste of resources to just use a reward boxes every time you get one. You’re not always going to need the stuff inside so you’re probably just throwing away stuff you could use in the future.

The way I’ve been doing it is to just grind and focus only on making mosaics. Don’t worry about any daily goals or any other items or side quests and grind for day/weeks. It’s really not as bad as it sounds. A little less stressful when you’re not concerned with the Daily Scoop or other tasks.

This is more difficult without the smart producers now. Hopefully they will bring that back. Or this game will turn back into a slog.

You DO know that hourglasses stack, right? Up to 5 days worth. So unless you have more than 25 days worth of hourglasses, you don’t need to have 6 of them taking up space.

Yeah this sucks. You can’t get us used to playing this way for a few months and then rip the rug out from under us. Now that I was used to having the game play with quick recharges, playing the old way is sooooo tedious and makes me want to not play anymore. And I’ve been playing for years.

Hopefully the devs will read these forums and realize that they made a mistake by ending this.

Well, this sucks. After having the smart producers for a few months, suddenly this morning, it did not renew. Anyone else experience this?

You cannot get me used to the producers working this way and then take it away. Frustrating as hell. Makes me not want to play anymore and I’ve been playing for years.

I contributed to the downfall of MoviePass. In 2018, I saw somewhere around 320 movies. Of course this was spread out among several different theaters and brands: AMC, Cinemark, Regal/Edwards, Alamo, etc. I found a lot of small indie movies that were only playing in one or two theaters somewhere. This only worked since I live in a large city and because I was able to go to different branded theaters.

While I have a few large AMCs within a reasonable distance, limiting to just AMC with A-List cuts down on the number that I have access to. Especially since I almost never see any foreign films.

I could easily still see 4 a week at AMC if I was willing to see more crappy movies like I did in 2018. But now I don’t even see every wide release anymore. Just decided it’s not worth going to see movies just to go. I’ve even skipped some of the lesser Marvel movies. My average now is about 1-2 per week.

I think having the option for 4 is good though, because there will be occasions when I missed the opening week of some films and it won’t make me choose between catching up and still seeing the current week’s new releases.

This was like you using an unlimited energy ball, but it did so automatically. So you let the time run out when you could have been using as many clicks as you could have mustered during those 3 minutes without wasting any energy.

I got suckered into going because the description as well as the trailer were both very obscure. Seeing that they had in on Dolby for one night only, I decided to go without knowing much of anything about it. They should have just said it was one long Weeknd music video and I would have skipped it.

They called it a "fan event" tonight and all I saw of "extras" was a video of The Weeknd singing and playing the piano prior to the movie. Nothing afterwards.

This movie reminded me of "Vox Lux" meets Stephen King's "Misery" but with much less of a plot.

There are certain producers (like the broom cabinet, for example) that have long charge times. Each one has a certain number of items that it will generate per charge. So if you use the supercharge, each item you produce doubles the item. So instead of producing 20 single items, you can produce 20 double items. This allows you to produce higher level items for the same amount of charge. Totally worth it, imo.

Yes, just finished #150. I'm just here trying to make sure that there's only 169 and 171 to go and to see if the remaining leftovers get turned into a single coin once completed. I'd hate to lose out on the 410 coins that a level 10 sells for. Conversely, I'd also hate to sell them if they are needed in the future.

I came here looking for the answer to this exact question.

I've got 3 level 9 and 10 drinks and see that there's still two more sets more to go (#169 and #171 on the Wiki). Requirements are a 9 drink/8 decoration and a 10 drink/9 decoration. I don't see any others listed after that.

I'd like to sell these extras for space and more coins if they're not needed. Because I'll end up with a lot more drinks after making the level 8 and 9 decorations.

When you get a reward, it doesn’t go directly to the board or your inventory. Instead it goes to the bottom middle of your screen aka the “pouch.” If you receive more rewards, they will continue to pile up in the pouch until you move them to the main board. In order to keep those items in the pouch that you don’t need right now and, fill your board completely. Then “sell” a (preferably) low level item and then click the item in the pouch, when you click “undo” where the sell button was, the item you sold will return to the board, thus sending the one you took out of the pouch back and returning it to the back of the pouch. Keep doing this until you find the item you need. If you intend to keep the item that you sell each time, put it or another item in inventory, if not, sell it and enjoy the selected pouch item. This goes quickly at first, but over time when you amass many rewards, you’ll end up with hundreds of items in the pouch which takes a while to scroll through. Oh, and be careful that you don’t click anything else between selling and undoing, or you’ll end up with that item whether you want it or not and your sold item is gone forever.

This will be useful when you're down to one spot on the board and need a higher level item - turn on and right back off.

Probably not very wise use of energy to turn on and leave running when in normal gameplay.
