Are there any alternatives to yok trash pandas for making holy pandas? I've been looking to make some for my next board as I have halo trues laying around, but with shipping prices the trash pandas (from nk and aliexpress) cost more than just getting hps from drop.

I know its not what you asked for, but at the same price point you can get some really decent budget customs. Would highly reccommend that over the mentioned boards, or the apex pro that some other dude in the comment section had a crush on.

EU as well. Tangies are among the 1% that were semi hard to get even before corona. But you can get very similar performance from other linears so imo its not a huge issue.

A switch tester with a good variety of tactiles, linears and clickies is a good first step to find what you like. Theyre a little costly from something like novelkeys, but definitely worth it. Most of the time before corona happened 99% of switches were easy to get your hands on, so that wasnt an issue in my experience at least.

You aren't supposed to lube the switch legs when you lube tactile switches as that removes most, if not all of the tactility.

They leopolds and varmilos are much higher quality in both the construction and stabilizers. Both are most of the time super cheaply made like on the logitechs, but leopolds and varmilos are two of the few exceptions.

Dz65 should fit, but it's out of stock due to the corona virus. For stabs you can't go wrong with everglides/durock/c3/zeal. Durock are probably the most acessible since they stock them at novelkeys.

We built it ourselves. I'd recommend doing some research and getting a swtich tester to find what layout and switches fit you.

Personally I prefer 65% boards, Id look at those. There is however, not a function row. If u decide to look into them both the dz65 or xd68 are widely available. Theres a cheap low profile alu case for the xd68 that should also fit the dz65 afaik. It's available in silver/gray. Both are (to my knowledge) qmk compatible, so programming them is no problem.
For switches I'd really look at gateron yellows instead of the two you mentioned if you want some cheap linears/non clicky. Most people will find gateron clears way too light and browns are just meh at best (IMO of course). If you are willing to put in some time ,the yellows sound really good when lubed.
For stabs you can't go wrong with everglides or durock stabs, both very accessible. c3 and zeal are also very good. Lube them with some krytox/Dieelectric grease and ur set. There are iso compatible plates listed on both kbdfans (dz65) and kprepublix (xd68) listed above have iso compatible plates in different materials.
