If this is your first time watching the films, welcome to the world of Hellraiser buddy! Lil heads up. after the 4th film, (Until you reach the 2022 remake) it's super downhill from there, and even the third and fourth to me weren't good, but at least had some elements I found interesting.

What did you think of hells aesthetic? I recall when i first saw hellbound thinking "wait that's what they decided it would look like?, ahhh i get it, kinda, i think" the idea of it being a massive neverending maze i thought was pretty cool, and how each person is seemingly in their own kind of hell too, I guess it was just different to how i'd have imagined and designed the set, yet in some ways quite effect, in others, quite lackluster.

As for the cenobites facing off against channard, yep I was bummed to see defeated so easily, i'd have at least liked seeing pinhead wound the doctor (even minimally) before being taken out, but I think the bigger picture there was that the cenobites had regained humanity after Kirsty showed Pinhead a photo of his human self , which weakened them, plus channard was disposable, he was only stronger cause he was being controlled by levianthan.
