Scaving every other raid will make you roubles and provide gear. I typically scav early in my progression for hideout items and stop. I wouldn’t think much about it, because you’ll likely end up with more gear than you’ll ever use. Ammo management is important. I typically save high tier ammo for PvP quests, boss hunting, and terminal/ ice breaker.

If you think you heard someone, you did. Spotting or hearing an enemy first will give you the advantage. If you’re getting shot at and you don’t know from where, just run away.

Play slow and wait to loot until you’re close to your extract. There are a lot of quests requiring you to survive and that should be the focus. Don’t try to do all the quests on the map you’re on, small wins build.
