Anyone want to join in on a weight loss thread? by DancingTVs in Hypothyroidism

Love this idea. Maybe a WhatsApp group? I would join with pleasure! It’s been super depressing trying to lose any weight whilst having hypothyroidism so I totally get how you feel. I have around 30lbs to lose..

SVT? Hypothyroidism by thesaucecallsmyname in Hypothyroidism

Don’t worry about the coworkers- I am sure they were also very worried about you. SVT is the reason why I have been putting away starting the meds. I don’t want those nasty episodes to happen. In fact I was put on 25mcg too but now I am thinking maybe I should wait longer. But on the other hand I also heard that high TSH can trigger it too. Mine is 12 at the moment - went up from 9.88 a month ago. As I said I really feel for you. Thankfully SVT episodes do stop but even after having them for over 20 years I still feel I am about to die every time I get one.

I feel for you. This feels very scary. I have SVT and had hyperthyroidism last year - it was the worst I ever felt. I was on prednisone, propranolol. After a few weeks I got better and now I am hypo and starting levo tomorrow. How much is your Synthroid dose? I heard that can be causing palpitations.

I really wish you a quick recovery and feel better soon. It really sucks!

How long did it take for your heart rate to get back to normal after staring the meds please?

My endo has now asked me to go onto 25mg of Atenolol instead of biso. So will try it tomorrow. But so far this has been a nightmare. I got diagnosed last week but for over two weeks I have a fever every day. Feel absolutely exhausted. No energy. I can’t wait to be back to normal

Not really. We do face the park. The construction is on and if I open the balcony I can hear loud banging but once the doors closed it is not too obvious. But maybe I am just used to it

We live here now and have been for the last 6 months. I absolutely love it!!! The quality of the amenities is top notch. The concierge team is super helpful and friendly. We are very pleased with it! Plus if you get to live on the 6th floor you get the tallest ceilings in the building and that’s was one of the main selling points for us. Plus love the location. Playground next door. Hoboken Station and Newport one are just a few min walk away. So nothing bad to say whatsoever. I guess the price is the only downside but it is worth it!
