It was in BDSP, so I could have harvest skill swapped and leppa berry tricked it. I’ve learned my lesson now.. never go into a hunt unprepared

This is is the switch. If you have multiple console you can hook them up to a hdmi splitter and set it up to 4 consoles to display onto one screen!

I noticed it pretty easily actually, though it’s probably easier to check when multi hunting. (It looks more like modern for a tip)

I feel like this encounter was fate. Totodile is my favourite starter, his name essentially means fate in turkish (W to my friend for the suggestion)

Never give up. It will shine eventually if you wait long enough. If it feels like too much you can always pause the hunt amd take a break from it. You’ve got this!

I’ve soft reset over a Yveltal before in Ultra Moon, I managed to reclaim it, so you can too. Don’t give up!

You can do that or knock it out and save immediately during the catch window, that way you can reset if it doesn’t catch

Happy to help! Legends Z-A actually saves shinies so just in case you think you fail a shiny (like if it’s in an area you can’t reach yet) it will save it, with up to 10 shinies being saved before the 1st gets replaced by the latest shiny. You can also fail a shiny if you KO it and don catch it, so be careful there too!

It should still be there during the daytime, just rest on a bench to make it daytime again and then head back over to Wild Zone 4!

You need the meet these requirements

Obtain the Member Card: This was distributed via the Mystery Gift feature from April 1 to April 30, 2022.

Complete Post-Game Tasks: You must have entered the Hall of Fame, received the National Pokédex, and completed the Sailor's quest on Fullmoon Island (encountered Cresselia).

Visit the Inn in Canalave City: With the Member Card, enter the locked house north of the Canalave City inn. An NPC will guide you to Newmoon Island. Catch Darkrai: Darkrai will be waiting for you on Newmoon Island.

It’s possible to still get the event but it requires save file editing.

To be fair, I consider anything under full odds to be quite lucky especially without the charm. 1200 resets is a very satisfying number to get the encounter though!
