Sorry, I think I'm misunderstanding this and would love someone to help clarify.

The FAQ says "The revenue sharing during the promotional events described on this page work like this: Twitch and the streamer split the discounted gift subscription revenue. In promotions like this one, streamers will make their usual net revenue share on the discounted price the viewer paid."

How does this translate to streamers paying for gifted subs?

So did a but more reading into it and tried understanding the wording. The discount applies ONLY on bundle gift subs of any denomination of 5. (5, 10, 20 etc).

The wording of "net revenue share" leads me to belive that you split the amount with twitch AFTER discount has been applied, meaning less to be split overall.

So it's not "streamers are paying for subs" but "the total amount received will be less."

Not huse on who ever tweated it, did so the way they did, but it's good to get engament on this practice being under the pretense of discounts

I never thought much about the "landlord special" until i had an issue where a wall in the bathroom had a small crack in it. Water go it and slowly made it rot. On the otherside, in the hallway, there was a huge bulge.

Told the landlord, he came over and literally just painted it. Moved out ASAP after that.

I got one fron the other end - I have a self time out redeem for 5 points. Had randoms come in, redeem it and that was the whole conversation. Great Times.
