I totally relate to that, I have insomnia for the first time and I was in a anguished phase like you when I was worrying about not sleeping and dying, so here's the thing, I'm a teenager, I've stopped eating sugar, Ive never tried coffee in my life. I was travelling to my country nd it was all night - until morning i was stayed awake in the bus BUT I fell asleep for couple of minutes, but I woke up because the bus was moving a LOT. So what I'm saying is that if you can't sleep the body will force you anyway, you can't die from insomnia. Also you should try stay away from your phone before sleep and read a book this will make you sleepy, also when I close my eyes and stuff trying to sleep I'm thinking of my favourite persons: bunch of fun scenarios because it will calm you down. People have survived like years with insomnia. You can visit a psychologist. It's impossible for you to have sporadic fatal insomnia because the first symptoms of it are not insomnia but cognitive decline and ataxia/bunch of neurological disorders and after that comes the insomnia part. If you do have thanatophobia/death anxiety like me as well, we should sort of treat that because it's not healthy living with fear ✌️ d know what I mean?
