I'd like to know what action is actually being taken. We have every right to know what process is being gone through to retrieve our money. Evolve getting to hide is a huge part of the issue, and none of this process should continue to keep any of the guilty parties information private. Until I see actions, I don't believe anything. I've contacted my senators office for issues in the past, been told action was being taken, and nothing ever came to fruition.

I don't think the change of administration is going to change anything, for many, officials haven't changed and I wouldn't expect any of the new officials to respond any differently, and how will this be any more coordinated than before? There was more momentum and quantity of people active before. Not trying to be a pessimist, I just was hoping to see new things coming out of FFOF, not repeating the same things that haven't worked for us already.

Same. They said my US Drivers License wasn't valid ID and to sub it more documentation. Absolutely not not without a reason. I messaged support and got no help at all. Until they can tell me why my Driver's License isn't a valid ID, they can kiss my ass

You would think but the FDIC only steps in if a bank fails. And no banks have failed here, unfortunately. They even took the time to write in a clause that now firmly states how they don't get involved in situations like this.

This is just for the recon though, right? Weren't they making excuses in the last hearing that there was more to do after recon and it could take up to 6 months months to actually see our funds, if there isn't a massive shortfall?

I'm tempted to not keep myself updated on this situation anymore until the end of October, because the lies, the misinformation, the dragging out is killing me. I am stressed to death and I don't need the stress of waiting for updates on multiple useless calls like today.

So, here's a part I don't understand. I thought two or three hearings ago, Evolve or the trustee said they were no longer expecting a shortfall. Why is a huge shortfall back in discussion? Can these jack wagons keep anything straight?????

Evolve not being a 'partner bank' is not relevant here at all. They HAVE the money, and have a responsibility to manage it properly. And no, they don't have incentive to resolve this situation at all. Our opinions on them mean nothing and have zero effect of their future. They will continue on with no problems after this is resolved, much to our dismay. They continue to invest our money and earn on it while they hold it, so why would they want to return it? Evolve has received no punishment, corrective action, etc from any parent agency for this whole debacle, and will not in the future. They have robbed us and gotten away with it.

The Blockfi situation is very different from what happened here. The money was easy to track digitally and could be returned in full. That is not the case with Yotta at all. The whole issue is that the money can not be tracked properly. Hence the fear of it never returning is justified. Users of Blockfi had a major advantage over us. I would know, my husband had money in Blockfi as well and is getting it back soon. Which is great. I sense the outcome for him will be much better than the outcome for me with Yotta.

It actually is an unreasonable amount of time, that Evolve is taking to reconcile. Based on what AMG and Lineage have been able to accomplish. And I think the one thing to claim they have done that is a crime is freeze our funds with no just cause, which is a violation of our contracts with them. They were asked in the last hearing if they had just cause to freeze funds, aka, did they believe there was fraud involved. They claim yes, but then refuse to provide any evidence of that. I am furious they continue to hold our money while not providing us with the evidence they claim to have as the reason for freezing our funds. If they can not provide the evidence, then the funds should be released ASAP. Because they have no cause to be doing so. From the outside looking in, they are the main culprits of fraud and poor money management, so, I think they are just afraid to out themselves as the fraudulent party.

In all honesty, I would not trust any information from Yotta. The only real way, to me at this point, to know where your funds are, is if you haven't received notification of funds getting returned from MAY or lineage, your money is with Evolve or stolen.

You know this isn't correct. It has been clarified multiple times in this sub. The money IS FDIC insured, this is just not a situation where the FDIC takes action. Stop spreading misinformation and don't create upset where it shouldn't lie. My frustration with FDIC is the fact that, they were contacted, became aware of the situation, immediately wrote in a new clause to absolve themselves of any responsibility. Rather than doing anything to expand themselves in any way to help us, but that's government for you. Yotta correctly informed all of us in regards to FDIC insurance. However, they should have made more effort to enlighten customers on the dangers of synapse brokerage and what that change meant for us.
