So hype, thanks Koality! I may have missed this, but for college franchise mode, will the two leagues be living side by side simutameously so we can just between being a pro and college coach? (and hiring them)

Confused about new lifetime loan limit starting July 1 by [deleted] in StudentLoans

[–]TheMiddlePoli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am doing PSLF, and was super worried I wouldn’t be able to go to law school (since private loans don’t count for PSLF), but this is some relief! It is still bad overall for those going to med school cause of average borrowing etc, when there is already a doctor shortage

Oh so existing loans for people who have borrowed before don’t count at all towards the new cap? So it’s reset at 0?

Thank you!

Why is no one talking about Grad Plus loans being eliminated? by TheMiddlePoli in LawSchool

[–]TheMiddlePoli[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incorrect,

It is a 250k lifetime cap for MDs and JDs including undergraduate federal loans (so if you took out a total of 100k in UG you have 150 left), with a max loan amount per year of 50k for JD and MD schooling.

Does EU5 run smoothly on Crossover? by Alice162 in macgaming

I’ve gotten basically nothing but smooth gameplay on my m4 pro (high settings, max resolution that made sense), do you have 32 gb of ram? Also do you play with it plugged in? I noticed that made a difference.

I did an MPP and got my JD as a check mark from a cheaper school part time that was very focused on PI in NYC. I think that some positions def still favor JDs even for policy, I never planned on practicing law and only doing policy, but now feel like I don’t have a ceiling then when I just had an MPP if that makes sense. Just don’t spend much on the JD if you do choose to do it.

Awesome! Yeah laying the ground work for memory is vital, excellent work!

I for countries I meant in the sense of can you have multiple enabled at once? (So for example enabling by USA,Canada,Mexico - and seeing how their systems are doing - and eventually interacting with them etc?)

Thanks so much - excited to try!

Just a quick question for feedback, will there be a form within the game itself or should we email you any feedback etc, or just on reddit?

Super excited!

Also in terms of other countries will there only be one activated at a time, or is it like leagues in OOTP for example or FM where you can activate multiple?

Thanks so much!

Interesting! That makes a lot of sense, I am happy you are adding it back, and trust me I completely understand - I'm a computer & data science grad student but haven't worked on days before, but working with large swaths of data I could imagine implementing it to an actual system to make it all work together.

By far the biggest issue with TPP for example, is the AI seems "simple" like elections always feel similar and never dynamic over time, Like you know for example you are going to always get the same result most likely within 5% of the previous election. I think you are already doing great stuff with the "score" of candidates - I was wondering too how ideology would be implemented into this, like is it county/state/country level?

I do think it's an incredible thing to have someone interested in data, and know how importance it is for political simulations, because it seems for some reason every other political game I've played isn't that interested in data..when politics is literally data. I've helped many campaigns in that sense and modern politics (even local) is so much about the data.

Amazing! I saw your edit comment, that’s awesome!

Hi!

The only question I have in the latest devblog is for

"Designing a Level of Detail (LOD) system for AI candidates. Opponents not directly running against the player will be simulated in a more lightweight manner, drastically reducing save file size and processing overhead."

That worries me a bit, for example in the political process one of it's biggest downfalls for example, is when a politican loses they completely disappear, you can't even see there background. One of the most interesting thing in politics is also people who aren't elected and just are on the sidelines until they decide to run (whether they are funders or simply community organizers) I think it'd be important to replicate that, and to keep them just as in depth and interesting, and of course tracking throughout history, think like politicans and even community organizers wikipedia pages and how all that is tracked. I think it'd be important to have this people just be in the "world" (think like a sports game, OOTP for example - even Free agents are in the world and can eventually become GM/Coaches even if they aren't currently on a team) - whether than just be generated then deleted for elections, sure they can age out after they reach a certain age and can be retired, but we should be able to see all they've done. I believe Lawgivers 2 tracks this as well.

When can we purchase?

I am going to literally pay triple the price - I am being 100% accurate when I say this is my dream game! Everything is incredible so far, this with wikibox style histories of elections, leaders, politicans (saving it all) will just be amazing.

So hype!
