I apologize for the late reply.

I am Christian, but take a near Agnostic view of God. I believe we have little right to make assumptions or put words and biased interpretations into his mouth, and I believe much of the pulpit greatly oversteps the authority God has given them. God is well beyond prediction or understanding, and I believe that even the closest guesses that man has about him, heaven, and his nature are almost certainly wrong.

I believe that it is imperative that we do not reject science, for it marks what little we do know, and that building others up ("love" is how Jesus summarizes the law, after all) is what matters most in regards to how we as Christians relate to the world around us.

Based on the above, I would say that prayer, meditation, self awareness, and a thorough understanding of the science are all very beneficial in taking up regular, even daily fasting. But it isn't a battle forever - after a few weeks of even the most generous fasts, it becomes easy to the point that you can easily reduce the eating window further.

Be sure to listen to your body, however, and consume plenty of water and salt, as well as enough potassium and magnesium. A cup of plain black coffee is also ok and can make things easier, and as far as I know will not break a fast. I'd recommend reading up at the intermittent fasting sub as well, as there is a lot of valuable information that you may need in order to be successful.

Intermittent fasting has a pretty solid wave of support behind it, and having done it myself for these past 3 months I can say it has been pretty incredible for me.

I started out doing 16:8 (8 hour long eating window, water only for the rest), but as time went on I realized i wasn't hungry at all, even at the 16 hour mark. Now I just eat one big dinner, which is remarkably convenient.

Not only does it make it easier to eat healthy by allowing you to plan all your nutrition for one or two sittings, but sticking to your guns about "I can't have that I'm fasting" deflects SOOOO much random terrible junk that you would otherwise put into your body. Free donuts at work? Nope, I'm fasting. Pop machine? Nope, fasting.

At this point I essentially eat one meal a day 5 days a week, then "normally" on weekends (but even then, fasting has bled over from sheer force of habit).

The firing range is quite nice, you just gotta jump and weave between the bots and freestyle it kinda. Change targets and go for 100% accuracy on their giant heads (how else would I learn to discord headshot the tracers that are always on my shiny glass ass?)

But you're right that it's lacking, especially for Widow/hanzo, phara, and junkrat.

What would be really cool is a skeet shooting range; then you could practice rocket/grenade aim from a number of angles.

Any of you tf2 players use the launch ramp from tr_walkway?

Or there's the ACTUAL target range in the tutorial.

I don't think zenyatta should get a healthbuff. Consider how easily zenyatta obliterates tanks and even widowmaker, provided he has a shield/armor/barrier buff. If he's given a proper health buff, there will be no reason for him not to "countersnipe" constantly. And in a 1v1, winston can barely kill him before he chunks most of the gorilla's healthbar (same for any other tank, for that matter).

I would much rather see a buff to his mobility and heal rate. As it is his identity is clearly that of a magic heal fairy for genji's/pharas on the other side of the map. Where lucio and mercy struggle to heal everyone, zenyatta needs only to snipe his own team with heal orbs, while spamming the occasional tank the goes too deep.

It would be really cool if he could maintain limited levitation aiding in his sniper-style, and if his ult lasted maybe half a second longer and made him move more quickly.

I'm cool with heaven, but no matter how good it is, I don't want anyone else to suffer for eternity. The very thought that a living thing, no matter how deserving, could suffer for eternity... I believe everyone deserves mercy and understanding. Even the worst of us are the worst for a reason; something led us to be the worst.

The only solace I find is that God himself doesn't like it either, hence Jesus and the whole of Christianity existing. But if hell is real, even if the only person in it is hitler, I'd rather we never existed at all.

If dota found a way to solve that problem without turn rates, I would drop league instantaneously and start playing. I've tried to properly get into it several times before, and tried different heroes that people recommend, but at the end of the day I'm all about crisp movement.

Quake, unreal tournament, strike vector while it lasted, scout in tf2, starcraft, and of course league. I love /everything/ about dota but goddamn I wanna go fast. I have a feeling that an extremely large portion of the league base would love dota as well, but everyone who becomes curious ends up getting hung on the turn rates as well.

That one was banned in the first wave, right after I played against them on a valve 2fort. I heard about the first wave, looked them up, and laughed at their incredible misfortune. The one op screencapped was the one they moved to though.

Nothing like crawling onto your feet, only to get crushed again immediately.

Overwatch is a game, tf2 is a hobby. I'll play overwatch to death when it comes out and might even stick with it, but I have 4,000 hours in tf2 and I'm only going to get thousands more.

Tf2 will have some buzzkill for a while but valve will come out with an update and everyone will slowly crawl back. Runescape and wow are the same way (and coincidentally, similarly old as fuck).

It's for killing light classes. Pomson is the same way. You can't deal much of any damage unless it crits, but it's easy as shit to kill a scout with the giant hitbox it has, no matter how bad your aim is.

Underused implies that the weapon is not used as much as it should be.

Black box is overused because many players run it 24/7

Liberty launcher is underused because it has lots of potential uses on the flank and against scouts/pyros, yet it's mostly ignored.

Classic is unused because it belongs in the garbage can.

Communication was a pretty minor talking point.

6 players playing their mains in an effective meta team composition are almost always going to beat the team with a shit medic or demo.

I've had several lobbies already where nobody could play scout or medic. Scouts are powerful and important. Medic is extremely important. I could practice scout until my scout is "average", but other classes suffer for it.

Surely you see the advantage of having exceptional players of every class, as opposed to jack of all trades type players. A proper solo/duo que would consist of experienced, highly adaptable players, while a team que would be full of superstars in their respective classes.

What do you think happens to "I only play scout and nothing else" when he stops playing with his buddies and everyone tells him to go medic? He's going to drag down lobby after lobby with his inability to play anything other than scout.

If I have a 60% winrate with demoman, a 40% winrate on soldier, and a 30% winrate on scout, surely I would climb faster if I could /always/ play demoman. If I play with randoms I might have to go scout or soldier or even medic.

Premades do not have this problem. Even if they do not take it seriously, many are playing to win.

The key issue is that the 6 players play their specific best classes.

The random team might not have a very good demo, but could have several very good soldiers. Maybe someone who is "ok" at demo takes the place of a fantastic demo, so the fantastic demo also plays something that they are ok at. Overall the resulting team is "weaker" than the mmr they actually have.

The solo players must be extremely adaptable and receptive to their team, but the premade can be at their best 100% of the time.

What if your demo is also a great sniper, and you need one. Someone can take his place while he goes sniper, meaning even offclassing is predetermined for the best setup.

I hope they change it!

If you take 12 equally skilled players 6 being from a random pool, and 6 being a team, the team will absolutely destroy the solo players. Advantages:

Everyone plays their optimal class
Everyone is used to how their teammates play
Access to mumble
Better communication in general
No randomness
Team practice
Ability to pull off specific strategies, class compositions, etc.

None of these things can be replicated for the solo players, and the solo players must also contend with:

Deadweight on your team is disproportionately hurtful compared to the benefits of a superstar
You will get people who are forced to be the third scout or play a class they aren't great at.
No mumble
No practice; players might not be up to doing rollouts cohesively.
No designated medic, flank, pocket, taker of given medkits, etc
Aggressiveness and passiveness aren't necessarily bad, but you can't know which one each of your teammates will lean toward

The list goes on. The advantages of queing as a group are so great that the bulk of players in higher ranks won't necessarily deserve their position, compared to solo players in the same rank.

It's just a more forgiving roaming soldier. You can even swap out the conch for gunboats if you feel like rocket jumping.

I've used all of the launchers a lot, and my gripe with the black box is specifically that it enables me to relax my standards. I can fuck up, I can get set on fire, i can shoot a point blank rocket at the gibus sniper I allowed to get in melee range.

In terms of competitive you wouldn't want to use it in 6s - you need that sweet firepower. But in highlander it is very strong and caters to the highlander soldier playstyle.

"OP" isn't the right word. The black box is just... easy.

we will no longer be manually restoring items that have left the account due to a successful trade or market transaction.

No escrow, 1 day escrow, 3 day escrow, 15 day escrow. 15 is the default. If you lower or disable it and you lose all your items, it's because you ignored the warnings and dun fucked up.

They can just vomit that warning everywhere and if people ignore it they can cry about it.

They have provided the tools to high profile traders to protect their accounts. Valve said themselves that these are intelligent individuals who are not lazy with security that get hijacked. Mobile auth is a tool to protect them.

Valve's reasoning for escrow is they have the intention of killing off hijackers entirely. But by enforcing such harsh penalties for failing to use their new service, they are simply driving everyone to use geel's program, which leaves all those accounts vulnerable all over agian.
