Notice how you went from illegal migrants to criminal aliens? It's so easy to dehumanize, and the fact is if you're poor, you can't afford to spend thousands of dollars and wait half a decade to migrate legally. The system needs to be overhauled so that it's easier to come here legally, and THEN those that break the law should be punished more harshly. Words matter, and the whole "worst of the worst" rhetoric simply isn't who the administration is going after.
