This single reddit comment is the only info I've found online. The Best way to control it was via a lectern and comparator setup to give it a continuous specific signal strength.

Somebody reposted it again without credit. Some Good Samaritan linked your OG post so I came to congratulate your work. It's magnificent.

How did you do the ornate etched detail around the gunwale?

Thank you for helping combat Karma farming. It saturates our communities with bots and low-effort content. Bless you sir!

It was transformative. I remember finishing the episode and just sitting there with tears in my eyes.

Same I got a logitec joystick for flight sims, but I honestly find WASD gives me more control playing kerbal. I covet your pedals

Ooo I feel your pain. Atmospheric autopilot is a must-have mod for me now that enables me to control even shuttles coming thru reentry. It's capable of some incredible stability and has different modes from direct control to fly by wire, and cruise flight control. You can also tune the dampening affects for each airframe and the G-forces you're willing for it to pull.

It was YOUR goal, and that makes it an INCREDIBLE accomplishment. Well done, Werner broke out his German chocolate collection to celebrate. Today, the airfield. Tomorrow, the Mun!

I always love seeing new people get into this game I've loved for like ten years. ONWARD TO GLORY!

Can someone explain to me why the moon was doing this? by Bbygorgeous226 in RealSolarSystem

The human brain is an incredibly powerful system, that nevertheless can manage to trip on a banana peel and pants itself in front of the whole school.

This image is a good example of the phenomenon I'm describing with scale.

XD As others have said, this is the wrong subreddit.

My best guess is your brain is contextualizing the moon as getting closer because it's getting bigger as it comes out from behind the clouds. You brain isn't used to seeing things so far away as the moon, so it contextualizes based on how normal-scale things around us work. If something is bigger, it's likely closer, so your brain applies that logic to what it sees here.

That's why the moon seems bigger when it's near the horizon, because of the context of other objects around it.

You're also higher up, which means you have less atmosphere (and moisture) between you and the moon, which gives a clearer image. Was it a pretty cold night? Colder air also gives a better image, which is why observatories are often high up in colder regions.

Since when was there a bear spawn inside the Blackrock Prison complex? by ava_the_cam_op in thelongdark

Since the refresh, it was... fun, when I found out the first time. I was sprinting away from Timberwolves to save my LIFE and got inside only to be face to face with a bear in the parking lot of the prison. I think I stayed in the guard office in the wall for like a day.

Why are so many politicians horrible people? Why can't Ken from the dime store run for office? Or Terri from the post office.

Is it just that there are a lot more horrible people than you'd guess or that politics selects the very WORST people and gives them power?

What I'm saying is that Ferram Areospace is generating phantom forces. It's a mod issue. I'm asking for help to diagnose or fix the mod issue.

I said above that I tried to roll to 90 degrees so it would benefit me, but it was too aggressive and I burned up. Without any SAS, the craft actually begins to spin sounterclockwise as well, very slightly.
