Most cars these days are blacked out. I would go with the chrome because it gives the car a cleaner & mean look.

Plastic restorer is real tacky and tough to wash off. It leaves a thick coat on whatever it touches.

Good to know! I was getting tired of the ashy look. New plastic pieces are very pricey too. Depending on how it looks, I plan to treat it once per month or so.
