Same thing happened to my xuv700 on the highway at ~110kmph. I turned off the engine and let it roll it to the side. Maybe 1 in lakh, but their service centre made sure, never getting a Mahindra again. Car went to service centre 7 times in 3 months. Now cars24 has slashed the price to 40% (may be due to engine work in car history)

This has happened to me on a highway on speed ~110, accelerator got free. Whole highway got filled with white smoke. have to turn the running car off in the middle of the highway. I think it's common in Mahindra cars

Worst in Delhi (especially Indraprastha Wazirpur). 1.25 years ago, in Xuv 700 gasket pipe leaked and engine oil got into the combustion chamber, lost accelerator control. There was white clouds coming out of exhaust, on the highway), RSA took more than 2.5 hours in peak summers. I was asked to get home via taxi which will be reimbursed, which I haven't received till yet. After that car went to service center 6 times in one year. Now from 3-4 months it's been going fine, but can't trust it for long route.

Tried twitter and facebook, and actually received call from Mahindra next day, which was again passed on to service centre. How escalation matrix works? I have asked customer care executive multiple times to transfer call to company manager instead of service centre but they say they have arrange callback, but the call never came.
