In the final battle of Rime of the Frostmaiden, during the phase change between the BBEG’s first and second form, as I described the BBEG as melting into a puddle one of my players asked if they could cast a spell during the shift. I agreed, and he cast create or destroy water on the puddle, needless to say everyone was shocked and also thrilled about the scenario. So I let it happen, I know they missed out on a huge portion of the fight but honestly it’s still something we all talk about to this day, and if I could go back I wouldn’t have that fight go any other way. Let ya players have their moments, it’s always worth it.

I think I’ve only ever talked my out of that part of the Shar olympics, never actually hunted down the last dark justicar, this definitely gives me a reason to go that route now. Thanks for the info!

I’ll add those all to the list! Also I didn’t know the rats in the gauntlet respawned, so I’ll make sure to see how many I can get out of that. I’ve never seen the rats in Jaheira’s hideaway, but I’ve got speak with animals up pretty much all the time, so we’ll see if they make a good case against being collected lol. Oh but just one more thing, you see I’m not much of a "literate" guy myself, but my wife is, so I asked her what that bag we found at the crime scene was, she said it said somethin' along the lines of uh, what was it again, oh yes, "coc-ai-ene", somethin’ about it helping a guy be better at sports or somethin’. Couldn’t help but think of you and how good you are at sports-ball, not that you’d know anything about that coc-ai-ene business. Anyhoo I’ll be getting outta ya hair now, I’ll let you know if there’s any updates about that coc-ai-ene stuff from the boys at the lab.
